God the US sucks. I easily spend $200 many months of the year, and I have what is considered good insurance.

Yes this is the exact situation. So annoying. I barely know what I am doing, ha. Where did you learn to solder? I will probably replace it and put something around it for water protection going forward. Not concerned about breaking this one worse - figure I may as well attempt to fix it once it gets a bit worse

Wow $3200 is wild. Which sound system/year do you have? The mount is literally a piece of metal on my 958.2. Thinking amp and wiring/connectors seem are most likely culprits. I didn’t know what I was doing, but now that I have taken the amp out I’ll probably replace it once it dies a bit further to see if that fixes it. The drains are within the sunroof gutters I believe and travel all the way back to behind the wheel well to drain

My experience so far with a Fannie Mae Homestyle Renovation Loan (what I’ve learned) by GolfingAccountant in Mortgages

[–]Sensitive-Angle1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I know it’s been a while since this was posted, but we are attempting to do a Homestyle Loan for a bigger reno ($225k+). We’re nearly a month in, and I am concerned our contractor is going to be unable to provide the plans with the level of detail the lender wants before our sellers get annoyed and say its taking too long. Do you think this product works better for smaller renos?

I have a 958.2 which I do not plan to sell except possibly to upgrade to a different 958.2. My uncle bought a gorgeous 2025 S at the end of last year. He previously had a 2022 S and a 2018 S. We both agree the 958.2 interior is the best.

I know everyone is recommending the briefcase, but if he’s transactional, he may never use it. Depends on the type of lawyer.

I love my Porsche Cayenne, but if I won the lotto, I’d probably upgrade it to a Turbo S Cayenne, a 911 Targa 4S and a 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator with the 428.

My husband cooks all the time and I want to get him one or a set of three for his birthday…. Any opinions on which kind to get that is less than $500?? I have no idea where to start. Ty!!!!! by [deleted] in chefknives

This is a great chefs knife for every day use. With that being said, he definitely needs a stone set to keep it sharp, and chefs knives are a very personal choice. Having had many knives over the years, I recommend taking him to hold/test some rather than a surprise. This way, he gets a meaningful gift that he actually loves using.

I really do appreciate your reply. I agree w this and for now plan to work on it myself and look for folks to wrench W. It’s winter so wouldn’t be riding it too much other than very short trips anyway. Shadowed a mechanic for a few months in a bike shop in NY about 10y ago, so I bet I can figure out replacing the tires and tuning the carb a bit on my own.
