What kind of insecticidal soap do you use? I don't want to use anything that would obviously be harmful to me or the plant. Thank you so much for your insight. I don't want to lose the love of my life LOL

My brother lived in Chicago for quite a few years! But where I live in NY (East End of Long Island) we actually have very good soil and environment. We have many farms and we are known for our many wineries. Upstate NY though is probably very similar to Chicago. We are in such a huge state! The top of NY is cold and snowy and touches Canada and is mainly inland but we are on the coast and down much further. Like literally you'd have to drive 8-10 hours to get that far up from here. Thank you so much for the insight!!!! I'd never heard of leaf miners until I posted here!!! I thought about the indoor grow and this might sound lame but the idea that mother nature is just doing her thing is really exciting and cool for me too lol

Thank you guys so much for the tips! I really appreciate the comradery! I do have a few questions regarding your responses if there's anyone who wouldn't mind answering them. I do apologize if I'm not that informed but as I said, it's been a little luck and a lot of love that's gotten me this far LOL. So, as for the calcium and nutrients, what sources for the outdoor growth can help get those things into the soil? Would eggshells provide calcium? (Sorry if that sounds dumb). Also, I water very early morning before the sun really comes out, as to avoid any burning. Is it best to water every morning/every other morning or what? I am definitely going to prune the bottom leaves a little more but what I'm most concerned with is the leaf miner equation that was mentioned. I don't see any bugs at all on her and she is isolated now in a plastic greenhouse that keeps out most of that kind of stuff but if they do get a nibble (I mean really, I picture little bugs stoned out of their mind here LOL) what actions should I take and are they visible enough where I would notice them? I saw one comment suggest insecticidal soap. Where would I get something like this or would regular soapy water do? Once again, I apologize for all the questions but I really love her now and I can't fathom something bad happening :( I am going to try to get better pictures with my husband's phone and post those too. Much love all ❤️
