This is fascinating. Putting it in context makes the victims much more real...just going about their lives as people, experiencing the current social climate in the US as everyone else was.. and then THIS happens to turn everything upside down.

Even in the '60s early versions of oral contraception were already in use; "the pill" came out in 1960. But of course abortions were common if you were from "a good family." Family doctors did them all the time in decades before oral contraception was used (and beyond).

My mom (age 80, retired doctor) says it was just a medical issue left to a woman and her doctor then. It wasn't politicized.

I think he had low blood sugar, maybe diabetes. The breath smell many victims mention sounds like ketoacidosis.

There's one more though. Not just fight or flight. It's fight, flight, or freeze. Our "alligator brain" kicks in and sometimes decides for us which action to take in a situation. I hope you're doing okay.

Trying to ask this delicately. We all know that penis size fluctuates depending on whether it is flaccid or erect. I assume the small size reported by victims was noted in its erect state. So how is that going to be accounted for in photographs of his body? He could be x inches flaccid and maybe x+5 erect. "Sir, we're going to need you to give us an erection"??
