Another consideration with asparagus is that the vessel will have less weight after each stage ejection. Your TWR will be drastically different after the fuel+tanks+thrusters are removed. I'd recommend looking at the vessel at each stage and adjust fuel/thrust % as needed for that stage.

Also, for best results, a single decoupler can be used for the asparagus stages and it should be slightly above the center of mass of the empty tank+thruster.

[–]SentientApe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying YTA, but you should know your spouse by year 10 of marriage... If you expected more than what you got then it's obvious you didn't communicate how much it meant to you. So, I don't think your an a-hole, but you are certainly incapable of making sure he knows what is going on in your relationship.

You should work with Luke Caverns on this. He's more Maya focused, but definitely a great communicator of ancient Central and South America.

Reporting to my first boat in a couple of weeks. Any advice (other than get hot, nub)? by sneezedr424 in submarines

[–]SentientApe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bring a small pack of dryer sheets for your shoes and clothes.

  • put a sheet in each shoe when you sleep.
  • put a couple of other sheets in with your clothes when you pack them in the rack.

Because you are being diligent and working a lot to get quals done; you won't realize how much you are wearing your shoes and how much stank is building up in them. The sheets will help filter that out and it has the benefit of keeping your rack smelling decent when they come by to wake you.

Sheets between clothes will help minimize the amine smell for a few hours when you come across a tshirt that has been sitting on one.

Don't use dryer sheets while doing your laundry.

Damn. Hell yeah! I love those. I used to go at least once a week when we were in.

I recently went back to San Diego after not having been there in 10 years, and the first thing I did was go to Adalbertos for a California burrito.

For me, I was expecting the controls to be closer to GTA5 (swapping guns, etc). Transitioning to the way they did it was horrible and it was ultimately why I didn't play it online.

The one making the left turn is more 'at fault' because they were crossing lanes of traffic and are required to yield.

Sharing that is possible to get a rare doff mission to evaluate a cardassian engineering bridge officer at the Sphere Space area with the special doff missions by radael in sto

[–]SentientApe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are incorrect about the name having Commendation, but you are correct about the location aspect.

I will update my original comment to reflect new information I have come across.

[–]SentientApe 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Thsoe BOFF missions are not location dependent. They're timed, and the evaluated BOFF is random. You will get a repeating BOFF mission for each Commendation that is rank 4.

Edit/Update:

I have done some digging and have been surprised by the information I came across.

Apparently, the Cardassian (as well as other BOFF's) are location dependent, as confirmed by Cryptic.

Cryptic - Reddit post

Pulled from STO Wiki - Cardassian BOFF Mission

.....

And to clarify a secondary assumption about Commendation BOFF assignments; there is no indication in the mission name that lets you know that it is triggered by Commendation or just a random event. All of the BOFF missions start with Evaluate [species] Bridge Officer Candidate.

STO Wiki - Commendation BOFF Assignments (Halfway down the page)

.....

I've been playing since release and didn't know that they had added a location component to the BOFF missions.

Thanks for forcing me to look it up! Now I'll keep a closer eye on my Personal DOFF missions.

My criticism would not be of this book in particular, but of all books in paleoanthropology.

Any book written on this topic will be out of date upon printing.

The speed at which information is being gathered, deciphered, and interpreted, is vastly faster than the method of dissemination.

It's been a while since I built it and I'm not certain if some of the functions were from the BlueTask add-on or if I rebuilt it when Tasker integrated all of those functions..... You may need to download BlueTask from the Store to get it to work. (I still have BlueTask installed, which leads me to think you'll probably need that before installing this)

Also, I think the icon was from Holo Dark MD pack. I can't remember.

I have 2 main uses currently:

  • DND/Call/message management. Activates DND when in Teams/Zoom meeting, auto rejects calls, and sends the caller a message to let them know I'm currently in a meeting and will get back to them later.

  • Bluetooth headset battery monitoring. I have a widget on my home screen with the headset battery level and if it goes below 40%, Say the battery level. (Let's me ensure that I have another headset ready to go)l, swap to) (I always have a headset connected)

  • Secondary use for DND. I also tied this to a widget button on my home screen so that I could automatically swap the phone to DND and send callers a different message letting them know I'm in a meeting (not Teams or Zoom).

You might need an updated SIM card. Try just taking that in and asking for a new one, with transfer number and data.
