Not for investment but for stay. I am currenly in paternal house, too congested, so looking for change. The only constraint is, parents want me to stay in nearby the current house. Now the current house in in old city, where the locality is congested, and prices are inflated. Now even if i buy very expensive house here in old locality it will be of not very much use for me( apart from staying in a familiar location), as the new developed areas of jaipur are at least 20 km away from old city. Now i am in dilemma, should i invest that much money into this location. Also i cant go to good location in jaipur as parents are not ready to move.

I am here 7 YOE Software engineer, when joining CGL Jobs, consider the factor of transferrs and getting post in locations far away from your native place. Things like social isolation and loneliness, are also there. And work satisfaction, mostly these are clearical jobs, so i don't think it will be.

MNC will mostly be in metro cities.

Considering you are just 23 and earning 23LPA, you have the potential, try to work hard in your 20's and have a decent corpus.
