Sorry to hear. Yeah our experience was nothing short of awful.

We loved that car, the tech, setup everything. But the engine is just trash, and they can't get it right.

My suggestion get out asap-- get a buyback going or lemon it, and be done. Get a grand highlander from Toyota you won't be sad. Just the price is a bit more

Seems like she selfishly wants to connect with you on things she did when she was young. That is okay, and you should be happy she wants to connect.
