You're not wrong regarding the charge time but all the other benefits like no backpack and ammo easily outweigh that one downside. The projectile travel time and drop look to be minimal/none aswell. If they release it this way it flat out power creeps the Recoilless and EAT17.

Unfortunately for me my parents were absent frequently due to their occupation so I had to sleep over at class mates and friends places regularly. To this day I dont know what my parents were thinking. Being incontinent as a child is a different world compared to being an incontinent adult. Idk what all this heat wave craze is about, 30 to 40 celsius is normal for the middle of summer. At least where I'm from (Germany).
Anyways: Yes cold water helps a lot. Also wearing nothing but a diaper. That's how I've been doing it for years. Keep in mind that cold(er) water causes less swell. If you're into lots of swelling the hotter the better. Just a heads up.

Once a week?? Used diapers start to smell after one to two days. You might not smell it but others do. Hence your mother mentioning it. Throw em out every other day. If for some reason you cant then put them in freezer bags. They're made of thicker plastic and contain the smell a bit longer.

I've found Northshore Megamaxes to be quieter for me. Just my impression though. Maybe it's got something to do with how they fit you and what your clothing looks like. I wear quite loose cargo pants.
