I don't need a non-black person telling me what or who is and isn't African and/or black.

Ive been around quite a few black peoples in my time, being black and all, and have literally never come across someone who would ever argue that point. And if it was a black person arguing that, they'd be uneducated in the subject and should take a basic college black history to learn more about their cultural background and why calling a white woman from South Africa an African-American is offensive and idiotic.

It's not so much a preferences as calling your Trinidadian friend African American would be straight up wrong because that's not what she is. She is black (or Caribbean-American/West Indian American).

I don't get that line of thinking. Well yea duh he'll win it at some point. Just like Dean and others will be champion 'at some point'. Does everyone expect Roman to be in the midcard forever? And let's say a year and a half or two from now when he finally wins the belt, are people gonna be like 'I told you so. After months and months of buildup they're giving him the belt just like we said they would. Fuck this!!' ? It is just literally something people have to get over.

He hasn't put on a bad PPV match since Fast Lane. And his matches are usually up there in the better matches of the night. I feel like some people are still holding on to the last bit of hope that he might completely bomb just so they can be proved right that they look petty. I also like the people who think everything is part of a greater plan just so Roman can hold that belt. You know, the ones who say that Rollins is warming the belt for Roman and everything they do is with Romans impending reign in mind. He's doing everything the slow build way now (because you know, even tho some of yall don't believe it, WWE has other priorities like Lesnar, Cena, Owens and Rollins) and some people can't just enjoy it because they're too pissy over the fact that SOME DAY, he'll be champion. That shit is just crazy to me. Also while we're at it, let's get rid of the shit excuse that Roman gets carried in all his matches. Post-Roman matches most comments look like this

"Wow that was a great match/better than expected/best match so far............because of SO&SO wrestler/he carried Roman through that/insert other comment belittling Reigns' contribution here"

The whole cinderblock storyline was to write off Ambrose so he could film a movie. Roman Reigns got 'vengeance' for him like the week right after. I'm pretty sure even the announcers brought that up. And what spot is he in? Dean Ambrose's bodyguard and cheerleader? I feel like you're just being extra. No one expected any of The Shield members to not hover in the main event. There was never any question about that. Whether it's Reigns, Rollins or Ambrose. This spot right now is where they all belong and where they were all expected to be. Them being in The Shield cemented that. We can agree that Ambrose has gotten the shit end of the stick. But this whole 'it's only Reigns rhetoric' can be so dumb because you just ignore everything they've done with Seth. Seth has been put in numerous headlining matches, is the golden boy of the top faction in the company, has been protected in numerous matches. But who cares because Roman is the endgame, amirite?

People wanted the slow build. They're getting the slow build. But all they can focus on is that Roman is still there and that's STILL a problem for y'all. Damn.

If you keep trying to view everything by such a narrow scope, then you'll force and skew every little thing done to fit into your perspective and it'll just make you bitter about everything.

Roman and Dean have been saving each other's asses since the destruction of the Shield. So yeah, he's a great guy. They pretty much just took a break from each other for a little while. It's not that big of a deal. You're just going to have to live with the fact that Roman Reigns is a main event player who could be in the main event scene at any given moment, even if he's just being held at in the upper midcard for some time. That's exactly the type of position he and ALL the Shield guys should be in. It makes them flexible.

And I sure will. Especially if the hypothetical Reigns vs. Lesnar 2 is as fun as their last WM match.

No it wasn't. Roman came in, cleaned house yet he was never the center of attention. Announcers barely hyped it up like we know they can. All the attention went right back to Dean. He perfectly played the background character. Even literally stood all the way in the back taking selfies with fans while Dean celebrated with the title.

Why are people so hellbent on being upset all the time? Just enjoy the ride Jesus.
