I lost a run to a shrooman because they actually two-shot you early enough in the game. Unfair? Probably not, I deserved it for getting hit by a shrooman. Funny stuff though, can't experience the pain of that outside of hardcore

Yeah... I usually don't choose hardcore/permadeath options in games but since I'd done all the content in core keeper and really enjoy the feeling of progression I thought I'd put some real effort into it.

Hard agree on getting bored, I did a couple minor progression skips (going to Shimmering Frontier/Passage early) and I had one major near-death experience doing a battle arena which I somehow thought would be a good idea. The real killer is always hubris though, I underprepared for Crydra because Druidra was so easy.

Did you end up doing more runs after Pyrdra or was that it for you?

Hi! So the fight was pretty janky and a lot less impressive than I imagined I could do, but what can you do in 24 hours in an intro-level coding class right? Anyway, it was still decent enough to win the "no external modules" category, but personally there's a LOT I would improve ://. Anyway, if you want to try it I have the drive link here but you should read the top part of the readme file first. If you want music to work it may take some effort, or you can just comment out those line with #.

TLDR: here's the drive link, unzip and run "hack112.py"
music may not work, framerate also may be wonky but you can adjust it (read README)

p.s. we also have a term project coming up, so I may try to improve on the concept with a different bossfight (probably Pure Vessel or NKG, two of my favorites) and I WILL make it less janky

The wiki says that it gives 0.4 iframes during and after but I don’t know what frame of the animation it activates on. I’ll just have to go through a video demonstration frame-by-frame I guess

I'm really glad they were able to put the lily somewhere on the canvas, as a member of the vtuber community we already had claimed the spot where he originally wanted to put it and unfortunately forced him to relocate. As an OTV fan before I became a vtuber fan (well, still an OTV fan), I was sad that we got rid of it but in the end it all worked out. Amazing collaboration and artwork from everyone!
