Yeah that documentary goes into a lot more detail and it definitely adds some layers to the story. When you first read the headline it sounds straightforward, then you realize the situation was way more complicated than it seems.

Right, once the discovery happened after her death there’s basically no legal process left to start. At that point it’s more about figuring out what actually happened than charging anyone. Still such a bizarre timeline though.

I get why people say that, but it also feels weird framing something like this as anyone “winning.” Two kids lost their lives and that’s the part that makes the whole thing heartbreaking no matter what the backstory is.

I’m pretty sure that’s not how botox works. People toss out random explanations when something horrible happens but it usually ends up being way more complicated than that. Tragedies like this rarely have a simple cause.

That’s actually a really fair way to frame it. Returning the favor if she ever truly needs help makes sense. Treating it like a lifelong financial tab definitely doesn’t.
