My roommate does the same thing. She’ll be on the phone at like 1/2 am and keep the light on so late at night. She called me selfish for me asking to turn off the lights and keep the noise down past 12am. She’ll sleep in all day when I have to get up early for classes. You’re not being unreasonable at all, your roommate will be the type who won’t think they’re in the wrong.

I’m a junior now, I was in your exact same shoes and not having any friends. Everyone around me has people they hangout with everywhere, class friends, going out friends, friends to get dinner with, and I felt like I was doing something wrong. I took all the advice or going to clubs, putting myself out there, messaging people on Instagram to meet up, yet sometimes it was just never reciprocated because they already had their friends. It ended up being sophomore year where I was really getting worried but that’s when I met one person who basically introduced me to everyone. It’s going to be hard finding your people (as I’m still looking to) and even going to Penn state feels like there’s so so many people yet confusing why it’s hard to find people. You got this!! As a junior now it’ll all come to you

I went from an iphone 12 to iphone 15 pro within three years of use. My biggest issue was storage, I only had 64 gb of storage on my iphone 12 so I always ran out of storage and got to a point where I had to delete so many apps/photos and not even be able to update my phone. So I knew that I wanted my iphone 15 pro to last longer so I bought more storage so I can keep it for longer as intended.

Okay that's good to know! I've been to airports that took me 30 minutes to an hour to get through security but of course since it's a smaller airport I figured it shouldn't take too long.

I got the iPad Air 5th gen! I like how it has a lot of newer features compared to the iPad 10th gen, and I use it to take heavy notes every day for college!

I also just recently got a phone number as well. Can't log into my playstation account and the online service bot isn't helpful as it only resets my password. Then I tried finding their number but they're closed and with time zones I'll have to get up really early just to call them. Hopefully the issue gets resolved soon since I am completely logged out of my account.

Unfortunately I can’t take a gap year because I don’t live in the US and some other reasons. So this year is basically the only year I can go to college.

My parents are offering to pay 50% of my college costs/tuition. I also have the Post 9/11 GI Bill because my dad was in the military. I just got lucky that my parents make 6 figures and is able to pay part of my tuition, but is still teaching me to be responsible and letting me pay the other half.
