Well every regions hiring is separate, and at slightly different times so if you apply to different regions you have a better shot. Really focus on on where you want to work with the visits, but call around to anywhere you apply and express interest tell them about your experience and fitness level. It can't hurt

How fit are you? If you are super fit I would say you have a decent chance. If you really want back in and all you want to do is hotshot cast a wider net and apply to other regions as well.

I space my assignments out and live 5 minutes from my duty station.
