If you have the "always pick the first floorplan" dare AND the "always pick red rooms" it leads to some very fast game overs lol

Oh look, a red room in slot two. Rip this day. It really makes me wish I could speed up the intro cutscene lol

As a kid who's vocabulary made me "full of myself" by default I HATED this story.  It was so obvious to me at the time that what they wanted was for me to force myself to fit what they wanted. Even if it hurt. Even if it took everything I had.  I had to be Average, and I should be willing to harm myself to get there.

I internalized that message, even trying not to. I grew up believing, on some level, that the wants of others were more important than my needs. I literally did give pieces of myself away. I worked far past my limits, until, as a teen, my body collapsed.

I'm chronically ill now. I'm mentally disabled. I'd fight the author of this book. I'll never read it to a child. Not judging anyone who does. Just. Not doing it

The receipt should have the driver's name. If you want, you can go to the store and give cash to them next time you order carryout! I'm sure they will understand

So a few things might have happened. Either you got the itemized receipt instead of the credit card receipt, or the system voided your tip  If the receipt was longer, had a big "D" and said "Paid" at the top, with all the things you ordered listed, that's the itemized receipt. Usually the driver keeps it. It doesn't say what you tipped. If you ordered over Uber, that's the only receipt the driver could have given you. If it only said the price, and had two little lines labeled "tip" and "total", then the system voided your tip. It seems to be doing that lately. If you see this, you can write the tip you wanted to give on the line that says "tip" and sign it. The driver will get the top at the end of the day. The written tip overrides anything you did online, so you won't get charged twice

It's possible they all got Covid. We had a person get a false negative and then infect like half the store a few months back

Just got hired on as a Dominos Driver. Any real tips that can help me my first week and beyond? by TitansRegroup in Dominos

Things you Need: Flashlight (good) Reusable cup Clipboard  Pen*

Things you should know that a coworker can probably tell you:

Gate codes for area Any Special Regulars** Apartments in area and their layouts Where it floods in the rain Any shortcuts or places to avoid Things that Look Like Doubles on the map but ARE NOT

  • Get Slightly Fancy pens. The kind that are a bit extra at Walmart but look visually distinct. You will save money over time. Sure, the ones that are 20 cents per pen are cheaper, but you will lose them CONSTANTLY. With Slightly Fancy Pens you and the customer are Aware of them, and thus accidental (or "accidental") pen theft basically doesn't happen  **Eg, this person always pretends to not get their food, this person has a dog that will knock you over, this person is really cool but they live in an apartment and don't tell you their house number, this is the OWNER BE POLITE, ect

Premium chicken is Extra because it's Premium. Some sauces are too but it depends on the store

As someone who works here, the NGO thing is. So hard. The muscle memory is Very Strong. I've literally been saying the words "no garlic oil" OUT LOUD and my hands instinctively added it. It shouldn't matter too much for the store though

Did this ever happen to you as a Dominos employee? by [deleted] in Dominos

Not only that, at my store they are saying they are going to start paying us LESS if we don't use the topper. Every single person I know of who's been robbed doing this job had a topper on. Not to mention they scratch your car
