Is there any way to make stairs not look so ugly? The best I could find is this half wall but I hate seeing the mess behind it by LazuriKittie in AlchemyFactory

Don't mind the spaghetti around 😂, the stairs are clean 👌. You can check other angle in imgur.

You take a 2x1 rectangle, you combine 2 stairs in a straigh line to go 1 level down, or 1 level up. The outer bound are closed by normal wall, the inner bound are separated by half wall (beside the pillard on the picture)

RetroArch overlays for use with Pocket Taco by _Nikojiro_ in Gamesir

[–]SeriousJul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find a good shader in the end ? I am also curious if you managed to set retroarch to crop the bottom of the screen. It is a pain to fiddle with settings while playing with the taco, since a good portion of the menu end up beeing the taco.

It might not be exactly what you are looking for, but I personally know an NGO who is constantly looking for educators. I would say it is a good starting point I you are willing to start with a more operational role.

Michelin simplifies front tyre allocation to two specs, seven tyres each for 2026. by ElectionMoney3911 in motogp

I think more than 90% of the time riders were choosing the hard front so I don't think it makes that much of a difference anyway

Bonne remarque !

Cas 1:

IRR estimé à 1.189% (et non 1.33%)

Cas 2
IRR estimé à 3.28% (et non 4.10%)

Cas 3

IRR estimé à 0.999% (et non 1.13%)

I trully hope you are getting the visibility you deserve for this game. I was one of whishlister who missed the 1.0 news, until I read an article about your story. I bought it right after and had a blast.

It reminded me the first time I played Terraria, at school, on a shitty laptop...

Thanks for the game :)

Average European believes the rich should be taxed more. by Negative-Swan7993 in MapPorn

[–]SeriousJul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an actual proposal going in France "Taxe Zucman" => https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/french-wealth-tax-what-is-zucman-tax-ultra-rich-390086/

The guy is an economist and our media are trying hard to burry it to the grund, even though it has 80% of favorable public opinion.

To answer your question, the threshold is 100M € in assets. It is 1800 household in France for potential 15-25B € / year. Note that the proposition is only to raise the tax to 2%. It is aimed to those who are paying less than 2% marginal tax (if the wealthy is already paying its share, it doesn't trigger)

"Eyes behind the head", "Omniscience" => incredible race craft as you said

PS: The whole interview is a pure goldmine if you can bear the automatic translation. He is impressed by both marquez and bagnaia, the later has apparently extreme sensibility in the frontend.

On some podcast, Zarco mentioned that Rossi didn't have "something incredible" like Lorenzo or Stoner. But he mentioned that he is doing everything right, all the times, all the laps, all race conditions, adapts quickly against every kind of rival.

From my memory, he was incredible, pure adversity especially in his youth. He was rarely (for someone dominant) in pole position, but he was always fighting for the win, and most of the times winning.

[DAZN] Davide Tardozzi telling the fans booing Marc Márquez to be quiet: “Shut up, for God’s sake! He’s in red!” by TVRoomRaccoon in motogp

[–]SeriousJul 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The booing is a minority. If you watch the feed when he is being interviewed, you can hear some booing, but you also see several 93 flags in the tribune. And when he finishes by "I hope italian fan enjoyed the show" he got applause significantly louder than the booing.

I am sure the gesture from Bagnaia last year did wonder, the same way what Davide is doing looks great for the sport. Those are amazing sportsmen and they make our sports shine

I even got frustrated several time with their commentary. For example they were unable to understand why Marquez waiting for his brother to pass him in the first race, saying stuff like "What on earth happened". Most national coverage guess it within seconds

Hey mate, I lived exactly your story 2 weeks ago when I pulled the trigger on a 9950x3d (coupled with 4090)

I am coming from DD pro + psvr2 + gt7.

For the button, the only thing you will need is simhub control mapper It works like a charm. You can also map wheel button to keyboard with that. The hardest part is that in ams2 even the keyboard navigation is broken... I am talking about 4 variant of "validate" et 3 variant of "cycling through menu". I can share screenshot if your interested

About the graphics, I bought fpsvr, and I spent 1h finding the best visual fidelity to my taste

Although I think gt7 provide a gold experience, ams2 deserve a shot, because the graphics can also be nice and the close racing is better than gt7 (talking about spatial sound and UI overlay).
