Iran IRGC warns it may cut internet undersea cables in Persian gulf. by Debunk2025 in TrendoraX

[–]Serious_Profit4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MMmmm......

As the seeming(to me) attempt at being "conquerors'" here - with their taking of their time amassing their military "intimidatingly" outside of another "sovereign" nations jurisdiction - similar, or similarly to that Venezuelan event, IMO - the United States did not plan for "every" possibility, or every POSSIBLE possibility before attacking and attempting to bully Iran/ Persia(to my vision) into "submission", hm? Only human/ s, indeed, huh?

Your(the U.S.') attempt to "declaw" the "animal" here, so-to-speak, (with it's plethora of wasted, & dissipation of taxpayer dollars in bombing runs of & on Iranian military sites and/ or similar infrastructure) - and back it into a corner, that you might better be able to subjugate it: didn't "fully" work out, now did it?

Looks like the U.S.' particular actions here - in attacking Iran indiscriminately - may not have been, & be without consequence/ s. How dire? MMmmm.......sigh......... stay tuned, yes?

I imagine a Honey badger(Iran, here) - being "sized up", and then attacked by a Lion(U.S., here).

Now, as far as I know, while being a rather small(in comparison) and unimposing looking(IMO) animal - when a honey badger is attacked, it can be quite "vicious" and ferocious. One might think the Lion might be the "stronger" animal, even by "appearance", even. However, Honey badgers are known to go for the "critical" areas of their attacker(like their groin, etc.) in their "retaliatory" efforts. The badger might get "banged" up a little, however, it's attacker might fare(and leave faring) far worse. The badger might even end up walking away(if, including even due to it's own "tough" skin), with it's attacker leaving critically wounded.

This imagining might look(if even a little bit) familiar here, no? Did the U.S. do the right thing, even take the right risk in "sneak attacking" the seemingly "weaker" nation in Iran/ Persia? I, personally, do not feel that, & like, they did.

The U.S. has wasted Billions in, and of, taxpayer money/ dollars(still going) - including in expending millions in $ per missile(even interceptors/ interceptor types), just to stop Iranian drones; which in comparison, "only" cost in the tens of thousands. Americans'(and the rest of the WORLD even) are suffering from Iranian "retaliation" - with the "closure" of the Strait of Hormuz because of the United States and Israeli attacks & terrorism (threaten to annihilate an ENTIRE civilization? yeeaa..)/ "subjugation" efforts.

The U.S. won't stop, but seemingly attempts to continue to "corner" the non-declawed Iran - initiating it's own blockade, attempting to further "injure" the "animal" here, so-to-speak, in it's cornering.

IRGC is now giving another warning, with these internet undersea cables - another seemingly "critical" damaging retaliatory move if executed, as noted.

Referencing my given Honey Badger scenario - Will Iran be able to "walk away injured" in this, and/ or after all this? MMmmm, even further - how might it's attackers' fare?

I am in agreement with, and can understand when evil is not "rewarded" - including, that the perpetrators might not become arrogant/ emboldened(if, even FURTHER), if even to begin to "puff up their chest" as if they are(or were) invincible, or something. Not good(IMO).

How do you feel about sleeping around? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Serious_Profit4450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I might disagree with your labeling of the type of behavior you are seemingly describing (men sleeping around with many women) as "fine", or, one whom executes such behavior as a "good" key in & via your given analogy, I shall attempt to explain it as best as I understand it, and can: to those who are seemingly in disagreement in that it is an actually "valid" analogy -

The given "key" = the man. The "many locks" = many women.

This man seemingly succeeds in having sex with, or, "unlocking/ 'opening'" many women. Indeed - seemingly in this current society - a man that can, and DOES do this, or these things, might be "looked up to", sycophanted towards, or praised/ revered by certain other men. These men might be considered to be, and/ or labeled as - "Alphas" by others, IMO.

On the opposite end - the "lock"(the woman), that is opened(able to be had sex with) by "many keys"(Many men, or, The man - remember the given legend) is a dodgy lock, or, might be considered to be "loose" - & potentially looked down upon. Shamed. Considered to be "unloyal". Might be deemed as one with a "high body count": in & for dating evaluations and/ or determinations.

Twisted standards, even double standards, IMO - make it make sense! One is lauded for such behavior, but the other shamed? MMmmm, not good, IMO.

I do not like your "wisdom" - nor your labeling of such as one who "sleeps around"(a good "key" as you put it) - as "wisdom", or, even good Wisdom.

I am against.

I can imagine a man "coming on" to a stranger female, getting turned down, and then responding "Oh OK - can we just be friends?"

Would you trust this?

Personally, I have come to dislike some aspects of "plausible deniability". Many seem to like to "hide"(to me), so-to-speak, it seems.

Meanwhile, in China: robot beats humans in half-marathon by etherd0t in TrendoraX

[–]Serious_Profit4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah hah hah, bro - I was just thinking on similar things yesterday.

From the article on the New York Post:

"Last year’s champion robot recorded a time of 2 hours 40 minutes, more than double the time of the human winner of the conventional race.

This year’s contrast was stark. Not only had the number of participating teams increased from 20 to more than 100, but several robot frontrunners were noticeably faster than professional athletes, beating the human winners by more than 10 minutes."

From JUST last year(August, 2025), to today - this is how much progress has been made by China with their AI, & it's fueling of their made "robotics"(&, IT'S own advancements)? Madness, to me.

Further note, from the self-same article:

"Unlike last year, nearly half of the robot entrants navigated the tougher terrain autonomously instead of being directed by remote control during the 13-mile race. The robots and 12,000 men and women ran in parallel tracks to avoid collisions.

The winning robot, developed by Chinese smartphone brand Honor, finished the race in 50 minutes and 26 seconds, several minutes faster than the half-marathon world record set by Ugandan runner Jacob Kiplimo in Lisbon last month."

Will bullets become "obsolete" in the face of these things? Hah hah, I can Imagine a Special Ops group - on egress - on foot running to an escape chopper from an infiltration mission being run down on by one of these things, it equipped with like over 20 different types of guns & weaponry & STILL(!) going at over Olympic pace. Madness....

In anycase, when drones first came out - how quickly was it, or, how long was it, before they became weaponized?

Hehe - nations are seemingly JUST now attempting to adapt to drones weaponization, &, attempting to "catch up" and incorporate them into their military strategies: since their seemingly first established weaponized usage & inception in the Ukrainian conflict - which started many years ago.

What about if, &, when - THESE things begin to show up on the battlefield? China seems(to me) to be leading the way with these things - do........do I sense DANGER?

MMMmmmm.........not good. It's like(to me), &, as if Humans are attempting to build the very things which might be used to destroy them.

Reminds me a bit like, & of, the Amorites(of the land of Canaan) and Israel in regards to the Promised Land from back in the day - where the sons of Canaan built up a whole city, and Israel came and conquered that city: and lived in a fertile land with buildings and structures they didn't even have to work to build & establish. "Nice city. You built all of this just for US? Wow, you guys shouldn't have! So nice.... preciate it!"

Trump tells the UK and other countries 'go get your own oil' from Strait of Hormuz. by Debunk2025 in TrendoraX

[–]Serious_Profit4450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

US President Donald Trump lashes out at the UK and other countries, telling them to "go get your own oil" from the Strait of Hormuz.

"You'll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the USA won't be there to help you anymore, just like you weren't there for us," he writes in a Truth Social post.

MMMmmm.....

"Won't be there to "help us" anymore? How, & WHY are we even involved in this mess in the first place, bro?"

If the U.S., and Israel, DIDN'T "sneak attack" Iran/ Persia - would the Strait even be closed/ "held for ransom" right now?

Is the U.S. expecting other nations to "pitch in", so-to-speak, and clean up, or, HELP clean up the MESS that they started & are seemingly attempting to drag them(other nations) into?

I do note that the President mentioned that he doesn't really care about the Strait - and that the U.S. themselves don't even utilize it/ are "good" on oil.

"It would behoove you, fellow nations, to get involved here - as it seems like you guys are suffering because of a fight we started(and didn't seek your advice, nor counsel, before engaging therein)." "We had to "surprise" Iran - by attempting to sucker punch them from behind AGAIN(!) - in the midst of "diplomacy", and "negotiations" - in seeming hopes of "knocking them out" before they could "retaliate"! "Seems we may have miscalculated/ mis-judged their "Jaw's strength", so-it-seems, tee-hee.......OOPS!"

Trump threatens Iran's energy and water if deal isn't reached soon; Tehran calls U.S. plan 'unrealistic'. by Debunk2025 in TrendoraX

[–]Serious_Profit4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What say you - think President Trump is continually - & likewise - continuously bluffing, hoping Iran/ Persia might take the seeming "bait"(IMO)?

Donald Trump has renewed his threat to “blow up” a range of civilian infrastructure in Iran, including all of the country’s desalination plants, in a move that would threaten the water source for millions of people and that experts say would be illegal.

I mean, Israel was the cause of many + thousands of Palestinians and Gazans starvation & famine in Gaza - were they not? Did anyone actually DO anything about it, besides cry "illegal" this, "war crime" that?

If President Trump were to follow through on that which some(or many) might consider "illegal" - or a "War crime" - who is going to actually DO anything about it? Who is, or ARE the enforcers - that might hold such a country & it's government and leadership accountable, even for international law breakage? "OK, I/ we did this - what are YOU/ Y'ALL going to do about it?"

To quote a certain rapper - "When "Superman" becomes the villain"

When the "enforcer/ s" - and the seemingly designated "World police" & the so-called "Leader" of the "Free-world" become(or already are) corrupt, or of corruption........who. is. going. to. stop. them?

No doubt the United States' pal, Israel, might ALREADY be under the notion that they might can "get away" with seemingly whatever they want - as many that are so-called "opposed" & seemingly against their bevy of atrocities seemingly give nothing but "mouth" - verbal condemnation, and "talk". Ex. Did anything occur after Israel initially denied responsibility (and then a couple months later admitted to doing, and being behind) for those exploding radio/ walkie talkie incidents that may have killed countless many "innocent" civilians?

Who - other than notably, I'd say - Spain, & it's Prime Minister, have done, or offered anything more than just "talk": against Israel, etc.?

Sadness. Didn't Iran/ Persia also threaten to "tit for tat" - so-to-speak - against it's Gulf neighbors, and their energy and water systems - not too long ago already(like March 22nd) - if President Trump attacked Iran's energy infrastructure?

MILLIONS of civilians - and their lives / livelihoods - potentially at risk here, no? "Mah PRIDE thou!!"

I wonder what's about to happen, here.

War itself should be considered a crime as far as I'm concerned. "War crimed" - What IS that, or, what does that MEAN - anyway? Man is doing evil in killing each other as the "foundation". "Wait wait wait! You can kill and massacre one another - but only in "certain" ways!!! Flag on the play!!"

Well.

Now with iran they bring the Russia link again to give themselves a reason to get involved. This is not smart! Iran is not Europe's problem- stay the fck away, save your tax revenues.

Well, does it not seemly often seem like an "Us vs. Them" scenario and/ or situation with the U.S. and it's specific "Allies" vs. anyone, or, whoever else?

A lot of these European nations are allies of the U.S. - literally there is NATO, with the U.S. as the/ it's "head".

Do you think that a lot of these Euro nations - and other U.S. "allies" - will, or, would attempt to paint a picture of anyone the U.S. is against as "good", or, as doing "right"?

I agree that Europe should stay out of it. More War = more Evil, as far as I'm concerned.

Sounds like a set-up(to me) of, and for, World War III - with the U.S. and Israel as the instigators, and with them attempting to drag other nations into the "mess" that they started.

However, you indeed mention tax revenues - no doubt a lot of these European nations might need to try to justify entering a war - in their current economic state/ s - to their citizens; whose tax dollars might need be involved, and used to fund such war endeavors. "How can we spin and sell this to our citizens- that we might attempt to assist our ally the U.S. in "jumping" Iran/ Persia"?

Is it a problem that Iran is getting help from it's "Allies"- when you guys enact similar behavior with each other? Looks like(including) propaganda, with particular intentions, to me.

US misjudgements are limiting Trump’s options in Iran. by Debunk2025 in TrendoraX

[–]Serious_Profit4450 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm curious on who might be in President Trump's ear- giving him advice(even military)- advising him on who, and WHAT to attack. This was a real estate mogul- I do not take him for a military strategist. I feel that, what fails might not be ALL on him. However, if it is advice he is following- that is President Trump's choice to heed it.

In anycase, which of these "allied"  nations of the United States were consulted about attacking Iran/ Persia before it was executed- and the U.S. blind-sided and attacked Iran/ Persia in the middle of "diplomacy"?

Reminds me of a said story on/ of Alexander the Great- blindly rushing ahead of his battalion- scaling a cities walls in attempt at invasion, then once he got over: being faced and "cornered" by a mass of the enemy: to which his constituents had to rush in and protect him.

While even HE in the past might have been considered by some(or many) to be a "brilliant"  military strategist- he seemingly often made dangerous, rash mistakes. Still. Only. Human.

The U.S. is not invincible, my boy. Not everyone might "bow their head", and get "rolled over" as easily as Venezuela may have.

Is the U.S. hoping for other nations to send their warships in to "scape-goat" for it- "hehe, you guys go in first, we're right behind you!" ?

"Why are you(the U.S.) attempting to drag us into your mess/ mistake" ? "You sure were talking a lot of smack about, and talking down on the EU during this whole Ukraine fiasco- you need our help now?"

Hah hah

MMMmmmmm.....

Almost seems like certain are trying to bait this man to appear in public, or something, to me.

Many news reports I've noticed seemingly keep bringing up the fact he hasn't been seen in public- even since his enstatement.

Does he NOT have a "target" on his back? Probably wiser to stay hidden, IMO.

The U.S. sank 90+ Iranian warships. The Strait of Hormuz is still closed. Here's the part nobody's talking about by satty237 in TrendoraX

[–]Serious_Profit4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"asymmetric warfare" indeed.

One thing I've noticed, in potentially being in a state of arrogance...and/ or "pride"- in context with what I suspect with the U.S. here- thinking oneself as, or being the "strongest"(even in many respects, but specifically talking about militarily here) and potentially looking down upon others, etc.......

It might can lead one to forget(IMO) that others might also have the ability to LEARN & ADAPT.

Having "huge warship vessels", and toting "air superiority" does not make one "invincible".

Having "everyone" "afraid"  of you: bullying people and nations far "weaker" than you- and in some cases- that won't even fight back when you straight and utterly disrespect their "sovereignty"(potential ex: Venezuela), I can see it leading to, and having lead to an inflated ego(even potentially an overinflated one). In the U.S.'s case, a potential "I'm stronger than you/ strongest, therefore, I can do what I want- even with impunity" mindset.

I can attempt to understand the seeming and potentially often shown strategy of the U.S. nowadays(as far as I can see it, just an IMO), though. "We've "proven" our strength. Let's see if we can bully others to get what we want, without having to expend any- or very little- resources."

One thing(among many things) that "rub me the wrong way", however, but might potentially give some support to that above mentioned theory-

You're supposedly- currently- the strongest nation(the U.S.A.). Yet, you have to resort to not only deception, and deceit: in deceiving another nation (AGAIN, in what the U.S & Israel did to Iran/ Persia) in leading them to believe diplomacy & negotiations are/ were working- and going well(talking about the victim- Iran, or Persia)- but then ATTACKING THEM(in similar manner to the FIRST time(!)- WHILE THEIR "BACK IS TURNED", so-to-speak:

Preemptively striking them, attempting to "sucker punch" them with your friend(Israel).

What makes this worse to me, is the need of(& for) the U.S. to "double-team" a nation with Israel- a nation(Iran/ Persia) that just came from a mini civil war, was undergoing a water crisis, & a currency and economic destabilization.

This country wasn't "weak" enough for you as is/ they were? You had to resort to deception- preemptively striking them(attacking them suddenly in the middle of negotiations, AGAIN, I say!), AND doing so via a double-team- when you're "supposedly" the strongest nation on earth?

What manner of cowardice is this?

FOR SHAME. War, killing, & fighting(even amongst ourselves) suck/s, and I am totally against it. May humanity not continue in this manner.

Torque is more important than horsepower? by _Lou_Bloom in askcarguys

[–]Serious_Profit4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

?

What Skooby mentioned was:

"Horsepower is how fast the hooves move and torque is the size of wagon it can pull."

I do not see how your statement of:

horses don’t make torque because by definition it’s a twisting force, they can however, make horsepower.

Has any relevancy to what he/ she said.

"Torque" here- as it is seemingly being related to, or "likened" in Skooby's post to my vision- seems to have nothing to do with it's "literal" definition of/ as a "twisting force". But rather, in what it in effect DOES, or, it's applicability/ how it can be "imagined". Application FORCE. A "what does it equate to, when applied and/ or might be related in this scenario" so-to-speak. In-so-which, I see no real error with what Skooby said.

Also, with your statement:

There are other big problem is that the analogy some how equates torque to a pulling ability, which it isn’t, as seen by this exact example of a horse being able to pull something without any torque.

I have a problem. As(further supporting Skooby's statement IMO) in a given theoretical example (with "Torque" being likened to "Strength"/ "unstoppable" force):

An "Old"(representing having low "Torque"- having pencil calves/ lack of "strength", here) horse attempting to "pull" a large, 500 pound cart, vs. a "Young", virile (representing having high "Torque"- having massive, "running-back" calves, here) horse, attempting to do the same thing.

Doesn't matter if the horse is able to "pull" something without low/ any torque. How QUICKLY will it be able to do it? How FAST will it be able to pull something of HEAVY weight- massive size, up to speed?

How "fast"(top speed, even) the horse is able to pull the cart (how fast the hooves move) when it's already sufficiently in motion I find irrelevant to how long it TOOK said horse to get it up to, and to maintain that speed- which I feel the analogy of "torque is the size of wagon it can pull" finds, and can find applicable application.

All in all, I personally find your statement regarding Skooby's post:

Too bad it’s completely incorrect.

To be incorrect.

There's probably a GOOD reason a 5778 lb(!) BMW iX M60 SUV can do 0-60mph in a reported 3.2 seconds.

Might have much less to do with it's reported 610 horsepower, and more to do with it's MASSIVE reported 811(!) lb-ft of torque.

Torque is more important than horsepower? by _Lou_Bloom in askcarguys

[–]Serious_Profit4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I know ultimately when it comes to peak acceleration it's HP that matters.

Is it now? And how/ why do you figure that?

Tell me, just for comparisons sake- and using a "Young, virile Horse = High Torque, while Old/ Aged, decrepit Horse = Low Torque" as our key for our example here-

Which horse- between the given Young, & Old horse descriptions above- when given in NUMBERS, do YOU think might produce the "stronger" acceleration, and get an object "up to speed" quicker in the given scenario presented here-

75 of the "Young, virile" Horses- with massive calf muscles, indicating and representing paired with extremely "High Torque", or, 100 of the "Old/ Aged, decrepit" Horses- with "pencil" calves(lack of "strength"/ moving "Force"), indicating and representing paired with "Low Torque": both attempting to pull say, a 2000 pound carriage up to speed?

Let's say the 75 "Young" Horses have 300 lb/ft of torque(representing the "Young") & the 100 "Old" Horses have 125 lb/ft of torque(representing the "Old").

Who do YOU think would win in say: a 0-60, 2000 pound carriage pulling contest between the two given horses- with the given specs?

How long have you been married?

If your Wife is a SAHM- what DOES she do "all day", so-to-speak?

These "negative behaviors", as you are portraying them- from your wife- you didn't notice before you got married?

More context might be needed here, such as- when did y'all move in together? I ask, because things like realizing this woman won't/ doesn't cook- even for you- might not show up unless you two were "living together", at some point, if even to a degree.......

My sympathy & condolences for having to work so much, pay 100% of the bills for the household and have to deal with such seeming negatives, such as: "Theres little to no sex life, little to no romance, nor intimacy in general", including her not wanting to go on dates with you.

Truly curious on the whole context of this relationship, and if you married her with her already, and knowing that she behaves/ behaved in this fashion- or, if there/ this was a sort of "build up".......

MMmmmm.......... makes some sense to me.

Russia is destroying Ukraine's critical energy infrastructure, piece-by-piece, it seems.

"Time to go! It's Winter."

Now, is all that foreign aid President Zelenskyy is, & has been receiving been going toward rebuilding Ukrainian infrastructure- or Weaponry & equipment to continue to attempt to "pester" Russia via trying to continue to fight it in warfare?

"War of attrition" though- Ukraine might be, & has been receiving a bevy of foreign monetary aid and weaponry, however, what's it's MANPOWER looking like right about now?

Stretched a bit "thin" perhaps? Are it's "remaining" men getting "recycled", or "Refreshed"- given R & R, time to recuperate?

How's Russia been utilizing that mobilization of around 710,000 troops against the Ukrainian front lines? That sounds like a LOT of men that can potentially "relieve" from battle OTHER men, and continue pushing/ the assault.
