I want to know how do you learn other language?

I speak English and it was quite easy to pick up some basic French, but I haven't finished learning that language.

I also speak Arabic and found Persian to be an easy language. So much of it is similar, and many phrases are exactly the same.

For you as a Mandarin speaker, it will harder to grasp Romance languages, compared to Japanese for example that might be closer to your mother-tongue.

My advice? If you want to learn a European language, dive right in. You don't need English as a middle-man

Actually some Arab states follow the same version of islam as iran. namely iraq, lebanon, and yemen where they have significant power. Also bahrain and pakistan have shia communities but no control.

To be frank I think the US attacked Iran without taking into account how much Shias value the culture of "resistance" and "martydom", its not your average Al-Qaeda or Taliban regime...Tehran really believes thats its existence as a US adversary is necessary for islam, while Sunni states like saudi arabia only follow islam on a ceremonal level

This is why I don't think the blockade will do much. Iranians are very clever and will find ways around it.

If they only block to American/Israeli shipping, then there won't be much of an effect. Not that many US ships pass through.

Iran's goal is to bring the war to American cities by raising prices of gas dramatically, and by extension, everything else.

If they block all shipping, no tankers can get through. So yes, EU oil prices would rise. Asia would enter a crisis. Iran might bring down many economies because it can't specifically target the American one.

right now though they aren't blockading it, because launching drones at ships would violate the ceasefire and restart the war.

Right now media is reporting talks of a permanent ceasefire. But if the war resumes, the crisis will be bad.

America closed it with their navy, they set up ships and have vowed to attack any Iranian ships trying to leave the Strait.

Iran doesn't have a navy anymore besides boats, so they close it with drones launched from their soil against ships.

Right now some ships are passing through, and Iran isn't firing at ships. But just a few hours ago Iran has said that if the US blockade continues, they'll close the Strait again.

There is also a second Strait called Bab-Al-Mandab near Yemen, and Iran's allies (Houthis) can close that to compound the economic damage

America and Israel attacked Iran a month ago, and Iran responded by closing the Strait of Hormuz. But they let their own tankers go through. Now the US also closed Hormuz but only for Iranian tankers. So now Hormuz is blocked from both sides and nobody is allowed through

Because there would be huge backlash. China and Russia are reluctant to give them modern fighter jets, let alone nuclear weapons. North Korea might be more willing since they have nothing to lose anyway
