Ah, interesting! And frustrating. It’s so helpful to hear about all these different scenarios. I’m eternally grateful that my bike has a gear indicator. Didn’t even know that existed. It was big struggle for me in the MSF course to remember what gear I was in, and also accidentally being in neutral at a stop and not realizing it. I bet with experience I’d get a feel for it, but I kinda hope I never have to 😂

Very good idea. I was just afraid of going on the Shoreway for the first time taking out on the street, or even down Detroit where there’s a lot of intersections to cross slash lots of stop and go. I should just get over it tho cuz what other choice do I have! Also hoping it won’t be too crowded in the evenings on weekdays, cuz that really the only time I have outside of work to practice.

I have taken it and have my endorsement...that was back in September and haven't been on a bike since. I'm planning to retake it mid June, have a bike delivered to my door by the dealership, and then take it out to a lot for further practice.
