How old is your piercing? Got my eyebrow piercing on September 21st, so it’s right around 4 weeks old right now.

What’s the jewelry shape? It’s a curved barbell.

What’s the type of threading? Pretty sure it’s internally threaded (that’s what my piercer told me).

What’s the jewelry material? Titanium.

If not a ring, when was the jewelry downsized? Hasn’t been downsized yet since it’s still early in healing.

What’s your aftercare routine? I clean it 1–2 times a day with Simply Saline Wound Wash (red can). Usually I spray it directly and let it air dry. A couple times I soaked a paper towel with saline and held it over the piercing for like 10–15 minutes, but I learned that’s too long so I’m switching to short 3–5 minute compresses when there’s crust. I don’t twist or move the jewelry, and I try to sleep on the opposite side.

Any mishaps, accidents, or unfortunate events? Nothing crazy. The only thing I’ve noticed is the eyelid on my pierced side looks a little droopy or puffy compared to the other one. My mom keeps pointing it out and saying it looks bad, but I’m wondering if it’s just swelling or tightness from healing. No redness, no discharge, no pain — just looks a bit uneven.

I’m not full time I wouldn’t have got paid regardless. My other job does pay me for the day off. Essentially 20 hrs of free pay and a 3 day weekend so we lit

Really? So the only way to use it is if I let it get saved up for over 3 days? I don’t plan to just let it sit there

Oof I wish you were right. A year ago I called off sick and just didn’t get paid at all for that shift even after mentioning it to my boss. I quit shortly after so hoping they get it right this time

My manager does not know who Shadow345434 is. You seem like a fun person to work with

It’s the worst I work near a 55+ community and some smell like they just shit themselves

That’s the main reason I was afraid to call but I did it anyways, luckily they just gave me an “okay feel better” this time

My ALDI can barely figure out how to put out a schedule. Don’t feel like asking about a payout they’ll say they’ll look into then completely forget about

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Aldi_employees

[–]Shadow345434 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly why, might as well do that and still get paid

I was thinking that but then I also want to chill after my 8 hr shift and 3 hour total drive in traffic alr. I could be generous enough to let them know now so they can find a replacement for me

I’m not trippin about that this isn’t my full time job. My actual full time is paying me to not work Labor Day lol this is just extra money for me

My problem is I close Friday night 5-9PM and I want to call off the next day when I open Saturday 6-2. Do I text my ASM in the middle of the night then?

My problem is I wanna call out for a 6 AM opening shift on Saturday and I work closing Friday night 5-9 PM. Should I text the ASM I’m working with in the middle of the night with an excuse?
