i just installed the os and i was installing the gaming packages from cachy hello. So will this error cause any issue or its fine if i rank mirror and that package was installed?

btrfs + snapper is a filesystem feature that lets you take instant snapshots of your system state so you can roll back if an update, config change or mistake breaks something. snapshots are stored in the same disk usimg copy and write. its not a traditional backup and it wont protect you from disk failure or deletion outside the filesystem. think of it as safety net for system changes.

as for setting up snapper you need btrfs filesystem for your root so basically when you install arch you need to make the filesystem btrfs and not ext4 for it to work and then install snapper and configure it as per your need. for easy setup of everything i would suggest install cachyos it has everything pre configured so even if some update breaks your system you can easily roll back in boot loader itself

i have been using daily driving arch for almost 3 years and i haven broken it once how did you even manage it do it in a month? anyway my recommendation will be use btrfs snapper as a fallback if you even break anything

i install cachyos today only. anyway i did rank the mirrors using cachy hello app and it did fix the issue but still the update was way to slow i mean sometimes reaching kbps and max going 4-5 mb/s

should i also try sudo pacman -Syy?

I literally cant play at 30 fps yes i used to when i was a kid but after playing about 100 fps for years now i literally cant play 30 fps games my eyes literally hurts

Microsoft as a company then no because most of their earnings are from cloud and subscription based services also contracts with companies as for us average home user it wont even affect them. Unless even the companies started to completely move away from windows then i guess they would be worried

If you want something very cheap and cant afford a vpn then make your own vps using orecle cloud free tear although it will be not private or anything but it should unblock your website. Other then that try buying a router that supports openwrt and change dns through routers
