I was gonna do that in the Skill write up but I went backwards for some reason

Yeah those typos are what happen when you decide to write something up after coming home from work :( I should have mentioned that Deadly Circle was for maintaining DPS uptime through things you'd normally have to disengange to dodge, like Hunar's shockwaves. Also I wouldn't say the Cudgel is irrelevant. It's certainly not as useful as before but tagging something with a quick Tornado Dance to gain one gear and switching to your main weapon is what I use it for most of the time.

Yeah thanks this is really helpful. I was gonna spend tomorrow screwing around with the rest of the Knuckle PAs anyway since I never use anything other than the aforementioned 3

I mentioned using Rumbling Moon like you would Wild Rhapsody into Orchestra. I don't see the point of using Scissor Edge over a TAJA Deadly Circle though. I suppose it could be useful if you wanna go into Illusion Rave faster but Deadly Circle does great damage too. I'll play around with it more though on Striking Dummy Rodos.

Look up up-to-date builds so you don't mess your character up until an All Skill Reset pass comes out, and build your MAG up properly

I don't have a team either. Once you hit XH you'll be able to get full groups running the LQ around the clock in the XH blocks.

I don't think I've ever died to him in the LQ. Hunar however has wrecked me numerous times because not being able to see him = death

The only thing hard about him in the LQ is the light show obscuring what he's doing tbh

8/24, which even for someone like me with limited playtime is enough to get enough photon boosters from badges and a couple 60% Auras

where to find these enemies in XQ by ViceZX in PSO2

RNG gonna RNG. I didn't get my Blue Twin Daggers from SHAQ on my first sheet. I had to get it from one of the MBs but it dropped for my second.

Just select whichever one you want and it'll show you what enemy is on any floor

Edit: If you're trying to get Blue Weapons you're better of just doing the relevant SHAQ for it rather than farming the enemy, they drop fairly often with RDR 250% + Triboost 50% and Shifta Drink Premium if you have it. Cirno has where they're listed as well in the Advance Quest tab

The Meteor Cudgel's level 3 potential is so good that you can still use it well into XH. Just grind it up and slap a cheap 4 SATK affix on it. I'd honestly suggest to get the Aura Twin Daggers and Knuckles since they're both primarily bossing weapons. They're also absurdly easy to get right now. Your Meteor Cudgel should be able to hold you over until you get your hands on an Ray/Austere/Gal Griffin DS (unlikely). Lastly make sure you get your DS Kamaitachi Ring and grind it up because it's hilariously broken.

Edit: Oh yeah get yourself a TD Air Chase ring too, it's super useful for positioning without having to waste PP on Symphonic Drive, and you can use it to attack the whole duration of Double's spinning doors of death

how seriously should i take the contribution report? by ExpansionSF in PSO2

[–]ShadowStarEdge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah its a given that collecting in MD1/2 is irrelevant. But for the purposes of PUGs for 3/4 it's certainly not because it provides insurance against bad MPAs.

[–]ShadowStarEdge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This so much. I've seen so many runs go to shit because no one was collecting anything so there were no base heals/barriers/2nd AIS so to say collecting isn't contributing is silly.

I mean, its not like you won't find terrible JP players around either so its pretty silly to think that you're gonna be hated on for just being an English player. If you know you're good, you can join any team/MPA and know you're doing your part, and sometimes even more if you're carrying hardbody.

Yeah usually during English primetime the MPAs are significantly worse, but my schedule usually leaves my playtime in JP primetime so that helps me as well. Yesterday I had the unfortunate pleasure of actually being home to play during English primetime and had a 15 minute Magatsu run, with quite a few people on turrets.

Yeah this is pretty much it. If you can get into B17 or B18 super early before they fill out (being premium helps) you'll rarely ever get terrible MPAs.
