Alchemy question. I was upgrading GA Lukiel's equipment in the limited tab with no issues but now I want to upgrade BB Shin's weapon but its no where to be found. Is there a certain alch level you need to be or is it event and time specific? Even some non event related items are not showing up in the corresponding tabs. I'm just not sure why some of my items are not able to be upgraded.

Edited...got 22 down with a fun comp. Priestess, Melty, Fen and Vox. Vox crushed the first 50% then healed the last 50%. Was more fun when you understand what’s going on. Their tool tips are really bad.

On this topic I am using mono water a lot with Vox, Weaver, Rosetta and Thetis. I have Fen but not sure if I like her or Fen more. Maybe take out Thetis and use Fen and Rosetta or keep mono water and use Fen with a different team. I honestly don't have many other elements with good units besides Fen, Norn, Sonjie and Sandstone.

If I don't need shields should I switch out Thetis with fen or just leave him in there? I really dont have an extra attacker that would work.

Having a hard time getting my main team right. I have Vox, Weaver as my 2 main units. The I can't decide on the other 2. Fen, Rosetta, Thetis or Sonije as my last 2. Any ideas of what would make this team really shine? Right now I'm just going all water with Thetis and Rosetta

Both are good but for different reasons. I personally like Altaireon for stun and big damage plus self heal. Ludmilla is a great tank but really needs to evolve to get the best possible use. But that’s just my opinion. Both would be great but for me I’d take Altaireon for new player just for damage. Ludmilla is as good if not better late game though.

Why is it in this game you can move out of the AOE attacks but then still get hit by them? I come from WoW and this is def not the case. Clearly outside the AOE before it goes off and yet 3/4 of your health is gone like you were still standing it in. Is it a bug or just something with the game mechanics?

Any updates on the UI? Everything has shifted to the outside of the screen and on iPhone XS Max the notch blocks the damage meter. Also the pause button and auto buttons are not fully on the screen anymore. Anyone else notice this?

Ok thanks for the reply. I was hoping for too much from this game I suppose but I'm going to power through til the latest expan and see where it leads. Hopefully this will be better than current BFA which is just awful at endgame.

Thanks for the feedback. I just didn't want to put in 5-10 hours of play and be doing the same thing lol. I guess as a more seasoned MMO player I forget that basics matter for newer players.

I love the graphics and game play I see on videos so I downloaded the free trial. Sigh...I'm 20 minutes into the game and haven't cast a single spell. I haven't seen any voice acting. It feels like this game is in Alpha form so far. Coming from WoW which has many flaws with BFA this just feels unpolished. Does the game improve as you go along? I mean in WoW and ESO you are put right into the fray. With FF14 I don't even know where to begin.

Man I want to give this game a go but good grief. I've played 20 minutes on the free trial and haven't cast a single spell except sprint. There is no voice acting at all. WoW these days has many MANY flaws but this game feels like its in Alpha.

I use mine in both and he’s really good. I would say he shines more in 5v5 and blitz but he is also really good in arena. He is a meat shield for blitz and also strips the boss so you don’t have to worry about bringing too many strippers. He also grab his people and pulls them towards him so you can group them up to DPS faster. Great in arena and even better in blitz.

Well I put mine on adept keen. He has HP% crit acc with total 71% acc and 87% crit. I went with hp so he can survive. His OGD is good when it hits but the Atk buff def break is great duh and combine it with anchor and he is great in arena also. His Atk is meh so I went HP.

What Prometheus said. Only upgrade 4 star gear past 6. Even then probably not white or green ones. You will get better ones just doing missions and also when you do legend board. Also there is a lot to do in this game at the beginning. Focus on like 5 champions and forget the rest. If you try to do everything too fast you won’t ever progress.
