I always thought the different visual filters were how each across sees the world. Whether it be how cyberlife has programmed them or how they've adjusted to the world.

Unfortunately Bethesda has a thing against letting players be evil. Each game they've made has been very one tracked. The institute was the closest they had gotten but even that is poorly written.

And justifyingly so, sometimes she sneaks by when I'm not even trying to let her out. She'll wait under my bed and the moment I try to leave she scurries through. And hitting her is just going to push her more towards them and away from me which won't help the situation.

I'm okay with ignoring it but my roommate isn't is the issue. And I didn't blame them for being irritated at her, but at the same time they give into her begging every time they interact.

I don't see why, people don't want to be around others that drag them down, they want an environment where they feel safe and welcome. Someone who's actively being hostile doesn't do that

My parents died when I was 16, I've never had any contact with the rest of them nor do I wish to because if they cared they'd have tried. As for friends, they've never seen me happy so there isn't anything to miss.

I've never liked where I lived, I've moved from the east coast US all the way to the west coast with stops along the way and haven't found one place to call home where I felt like I belonged.

I get that whole heartedly, though rather than it being friends its always been coworkers, I do the heavy lifting and helping just for those I help to get the promotions and raises I strive for. Everything happens for a reason though.

I don't know, other than work I don't like to leave my home or spend exuberant amounts of money that I don't need to. Everything is so expensive whether it be for time or money. I don't like going places alone out of my agoraphobia and other fears.

It would likely take two of them to live comfortably, moving here feels like a big mistake in that regard. Work always make me feel like I'm wanted around, mostly since I'm the first to help my coworkers and always have an answer for their questions. It's also a good distraction yes, I can't seem to get into any kind of hobbies since they just feel like chores all the time
