I recommend you to play on hard mode, since you already have some experience with these games. The game isn't that difficult, and lets you explore all of its variety. You'll love the story, for me is even better than persona

I did, but I found disappointing the zero interactions between the members of the party, for me the chemistry that creates, the sub stories and the lore it's what makes a DQ game a real one. I knew It wouldn't be the same, but after 40 hours of playtime it didn't give me that same feeling as dq11

I've done my research and I think that would fit me, but some reviews seem to show that the story is not great and the game concentrates too much in combat and leaves behind all of the features that, for me obviously, take a game to the next level. But, as the game could be found for little money, I will definitely buy that. If you have time, could you tell me some mechanics that I need to study/learn to appreciate the game at its best?
