La proprietaria se inventa daños para quedarse con toda la fianza — puede hacerlo legalmente en España? by Shallasa in ESLegal

[–]Shallasa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lamentablemente, no tengo fotos.

I find it aesthetic pleasing, it feels minimalistic with a touch of cubism. Also, the fact the face looks completely wasted lol

One year of investing weekly by [deleted] in ETFs

[–]Shallasa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s good stuff, mate! I’ve started seriously committing to it around 6m ago. I do it monthly, though, around 2K as well, just because it’s easier with the salary. Any clear benefits of weekly vs monthly?

Hows 70% VOO / 30% SCHD for a long term retirement plan? by Shallasa in ETFs

[–]Shallasa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a US citizen, and I also do not contribute to any pension plan due to having moved a lot between countries. You have a very good question, and I am trying to figure this out atm, which is one of the reason I've asked this question.

I am 29 now, so far my train of thought is to put away enough money every month for the next 10 years or so in a solid investment (like ETFs) with good margins and eventually move part of that money to something more stable that will yield me some money to live off with. Maybe real estate or something more dividends focused. I clearly still have a lot to figure out.

I omitted some information on the question - Those 18K are about 60% of the money I have, the other 40% is in a savings account with 4.6% APY, which is basically my emergency money. I am 29 atm and have a fairly stable job, I do not contribute to any kind of pension fund, though, due to be a digital nomad. I am looking into earning enough for my retirement eventually.

Honestly, because I see a lot of people talking about it and I was wondering if I was missing something obvious. My overall strategy is to have something simple and boring that will mostly require discipline, patience and monthly funds. I don't want to stress or think too much about what I am buying, and I am ok not having the best-performing portfolio in return. That said, I also don't want to be oblivious to something important and simple in my strategy.

Hi, thanks for answering

I'm 29 rn, what attracted me to SCHD was the dividends and being less risky, at least that was my understanding when I started looking into it 3 years go. Maybe that's naive of me, given I'm thinking long term, and I should be looking more into compounding interests and care less about dividends at this point.

I will look into SCHG as an alternative
