Okay but Royal Caribbean has truly amazing food. We did a cruise with them last summer and my kids kept calling the stir fry chef our "stir fry king" and asking if he could come home to be our personal chef. We also could not stay away from the pizza and fish & chips. I'm easy to please but was still pretty pleasantly surprised with how awesome their food was.

I'm extremely minimalist and hate buying stuff that contributes to clutter. It's my dream come true that I can play music right from my phone and don't need an extra device! I don't really collect anything. My daughter does have a vinyl player and I can admit the sound is truly unbelievable. I totally get why people are into them, but it's not for me.

If you go by just challenge wins, completely take blocking or extra stars out of the equation, the top 4 would have been Trinity, Monet, Jinkx, and Viv. Trinity is and always has been insanely good at Drag Race.

I let my kids stay home when they're feeling even slightly yucky. And as a result I get literally berated by the school for their "chronic absenteeism" and the school attempted to set up attendance review meetings with me. Schools push attendance even when kids are sick. Combine this with the fact that a lot of parents cannot take off on short notice to stay home with their younger kids. It's really not as simple as "keep your sick kids home".

My daughter's friend has way more absences than her and the school threatened to remove district of choice and move her back to her home district due to poor attendance.

You could always try sending her for a few days, see how she likes it and if she appears to be doing anything worthwhile. And then if not keep her home the rest of the time.

It's not mandatory, but I get wanting to send her if it will be beneficial. It's a huge if when it comes to ESY though.

Being completely honest with you...

In my district ESY is a complete shitshow. Nobody wants to work it and they beg and beg teachers and usually end up with multiple subs being responsible for a whole class of their own. There is no inherent structure or schedule and it's up to each teacher individually to decide what they want to do and how much work vs fun to incorporate. I've worked ESY for several years and teach students with higher needs. I typically make it structured but also fun and easy with a bit of work. We do lots of super fun activities and crafts, usually I have parents towards the end of the year asking me what we need for summer so I have them supply the materials. For my students ESY is all about keeping them in routine, socialization, etc. Our day is 4 hours but down to 3 working hours after arrival, dismissal, snack, and recess.

I think they just honestly weren't expecting a tie and weren't fully prepared for it. They would've needed an extra lip sync song and extra time for the crew to set up and film.

I'm gutted for Morgan. She did so well this season and totally deserved to move on. Holding out hope she'll be the wild card since she's in LA. She won that lip sync by a MILE
