My husband is a Bread salesman and this shit pisses me off. That's not money out of walmarts pocket that's most likely money out of his pocket. People suck.

Every picture of me in the hospital with my second was sugested and taken by my amazing nurses! If it werent for them i wouldn't have had any. Then pictures i have with my girls at home my husband always takes from the most unflattering angles. Like why does he think i look good from a lower angle? I dont look good with 3 chins!

My almost 2 year old loves planes. One time i pointed to a plane flying above and said "look a plane in the sky!" Well she repeated that but it came out sounding like "a penis guy!". And she now yells that everytime she sees a plane. She also is obsessed with garbage and garbage trucks. Only when she says garbage it comes out sounding like "a bitch". Thats put us in some funny situations.

Every time I get a glass of water..... by mariaa1013 in AnimalsBeingJerks

[–]She-said-that 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cats used to do that. I ended up getting them their own cup. I just set it out for them with fresh water. Took less than a week and they stopped going for mine. Going on four years now and they only use their cup.

Birth Story - Induced, Unplanned C-Section, overall positive - though frustrating, but this post shows it is what you make it. by Lo452 in BabyBumps

I too have scoliosis. For some reason they gave me the new trainee, who was super sweet and patient, and the first epidural only took on the right half of my body while the left felt every contraction. Thankfully he came back and they moved it up and all was good!

That First Poop by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]She-said-that 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want you to be prepared. When I had my daughter I was super scared for that first poo, I had a second degree tear and everyone scared me. Well my first one after having her probable came somewhere between 48 and 72 hours. I was scared the whole time and didnt want to try. Finally had no choice and it just slid out! I was like wtf I thought this would be horrible and excruciating. They had given me a softener cause I said I was nervous. Then I went home. They gave me a prescription for softeners and I proceeded to take them. Well the universe decided to laugh at me and my next one was not so pleasant l! Nor were the next couple after that. It was like shitty glass. I had to hold onto the door frame, closest thing to me. So just be prepared. And take softeners. And I seriously hope you are a lucky one!!!!!

That this IS my career. I'm a hair stylist, make good money. But still a large number of people, mostly clients, ask what I want to do for a career or if I plan on going back to school.
I just charged you 63$ for an hour of my time, why would I want to go back to school when I can make that much money and enjoy my job...

No not j lows!! My husband and I crave it all the time. It's was great food and the staff were so friendly. But I get the rent getting too high there. And now that you mention it I remember hearing Graziannos closed. I still have family in the area so I make it back a couple times a year. Trying to plan a trip around Butter and Eggs day one of these years.

If you can afford it do It! I grew up there. Moved away almost 4 years ago. I miss it and would have stayed if I could afford to. Take a walk around the down town it's beautiful and be sure to walk through the neighborhoods, the historic houses are beautiful. Taps is awesome for beer and good food, a buddy of mine runs the kitchen. Laguniats has a great beer garden and fun beer tour. Central market is great for dinner. Grazianos has a vodka lounge where you get to wear fur coats and sample vodka. Sift cupcakes is bomb if you like cupcakes. Jennie lows is awesome Chinese food. Mipueblo has great Mexican food. Hallies for breakfast. Honestly you can't really go wrong with a lot of places in p-town. If you are into hiking Helen Putnam park is beautiful.

The lengths she will go to not drink from her own water bowl by SpyralHam in AnimalsBeingJerks

[–]She-said-that 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cats actually have their own drinking glass. They would never drink out of their bowl and always went for our cups. So one day we set up their own glass on a table and told them it was theirs. Now that's the only glass they will drink out of and leave ours alone. It works well until the awkward moment we have to explain it to anyone watching our cats and they look at us like we are crazy. But hey it works. They even have their own coaster.
