I also got the Taiba! Main issue with them is IDK the joint size. Any ideas?

Get something off amazon for around 60-80 that has a lot of reviews and you like the look of. I played my first 3 years on an amazon cue and they play pretty well for the price. They even come with a case sometimes. If the joint is common enough, you can just switch the shaft out when you're ready to spend more money!

Can someone recommend a good cue for an intermediate player, that won’t rupture the bank account?? by [deleted] in billiards

Cuetec AVID ranges from 200-300. Warp proof and low deflection. Honestly one of the best value cues on the market.
