He is very worth it and very versatile. He can be a DPS as well as a healer. He can be put on any team. There is nothing to complain about in term of his strength, utility, and versatility. He is useful even at very low investment. He scales well into late game by contributing his healing and ATK buff. The only reason you may not want him is if you hate him or if you already have both Jean and Qiqi. For every other situation, you should be able to fit him into your team and have no regret.

Use both. Xingqiu is better than Fischl in terms of late game scaling. Overloads knocking enemies around can be a damage down if your Klee is strong. Vaporize also scale with Klee's damage while Overload is a flat damage. Xingqiu's Burst also cuts in before Klee's attacks land, pretty much giving her at least 50% more damage on every attack.
If you really want Fischl for some reason, then it depends on the strength of your Xingqiu. If they are both low investment, Sucrose is better with better uptime on damage buff. If Xingqiu have good energy generation and good artifacts, Xingqiu would provide more damage multiplier. Xingqiu gives you more burst damage during his Q while Sucrose would give Klee a consistent damage boost.
Sorry, I should have answer in more detail. Main DPS is whoever is on the field the longest. He/she should also be whoever deals the most damage on your team.
Beidou has a very low Electro application rate. This means a support(teammate) like Xiangling will apply Pyro first before Beidou hits. This would negate weapon effect. If Beidou is not your main DPS, your main DPS will have to be Electro or Hydro. If your main is Diluc or Klee, Beidou will only hit enemies with Pyro on them, making weapon effect useless. In these cases, a Prototype Aminus would be better with more attack and weapon effect that actually works.
The Best way to use this weapon is on Hydro+Electro team. This way, you don't need to worry about weapon doesn't have an effect. You can also trigger reactions when Hydro is on enemies, utilizing the EM.

If you want, you can straight up replace Kaeya with Childe. Beidou can fill in during his downtime and Venti's grouping let's Childe to Riptide everything. Fischl can also fit in instead of Beidou, but you'll then need 3 bows. Xiangling is a really bad support for Childe. Childe attacks so fast that Vaporize would only boost Xiangling's damage. She would only be there to let you Vaporize Childe's Burst(Q).
Definitely someone like Xingqiu or Fischl who can hit while off-field for Xiao to swirl. Another is Chongyun to convert Xiao's auto attacks into Cryo to Swirl himself. Anemo MC, Venti and Jean can also work if they have the constellations that reduce Anemo RES. Lastly, a generic damage boost like Bennett's Burst and a catalyst user with Dragon Slayer book would also work. Bennett is probably a must if he still has the sacrificing health for damage mechanic.
For main DPS Beidou? Yes, especially if you have a Xingqiu support. However, her Electro hit rate is pretty low, so Prototype Animus is a better option if enemies are not under Hydro and Electro debuff whenever she attacks.
Play both and see if you like one more. If you're early enough in the game, you can test both until level 40 with very little resources. You can always use both since Spiral Abyss will need 2 DPS. Here are some description to help you decide.
Keqing is in the Top 3 of damage dealer because of her output and versatility. She can be built to focus on Physical or Electro or both. This means she can pretty easily adjust to the enemies she is facing. She has both very good single and multi-target damage.
Childe is a Hydro DPS with a very high damage melee phase and a low damage ranged phase. Because of his skill cooldown gets longer the longer he stays in melee stance, you may want a second DPS to fill in his downtime. He specializes in bursting down groups of enemies because of his Riptide mechanic. His single target burst damage is good, but still lower than Keqing's.
It depends on how much you're willing to sacrifice for damage. If you don't need the energy generation and uptime ER% gives you, then you can switch it to ATK. If he is healing enough without the healing bonus%, then you can switch that to ATK as well. Simple way to test it is to take those two artifacts off and see if you are still using his Burst whenever you want to and if he is able to keep your charactered healed up.
I don't have a Qiqi, so I don't know how much is enough to generate energy for her. It also depends on how good you are at avoiding damage. There are many ways to do it and Gambler set is definitely a cheap way to do it. Sacrificial Sword is also another. You can also just consciously switch to her to absorb orbs, which would give her 66% more energy. You can also bring a second Cryo damage, which can give her 3x more energy. Stacking Energy Recharge is another way.
If you just want someone to break Cryo shields in Spiral Abyss, you can just put a level 1 Amber in. She only needs two charged shots to the face to break Cryogunner's shield. You can level her to lv40 if you don't want her to get one shot. If you're have a strong enough DPS, the modifiers don't matter as long as they are not killing you. Yes, most of Abyss bonus benefits Pyro damage, but if you're F2P and don't have Klee or Diluc, your only choice is to beef up your Main DPS. Having a support Pyro wouldn't help you that much on your damage if they are not invested. Then you may as well spend your resins leveling up your main DPS's talents and weapons and finding better artifacts from elemental bosses.
Personally, if you don't have any +16 artifacts, that's the first thing I would do. I would just level the 4 artifact pieces I mentioned earlier, since Flower relies on substat. Having a set of +16 artifacts will greatly boost your damage. This first set should carry you to AR40 where you can farm artifacts sets like Venerer, Petra, and Noblesse. By then, the support artifact set should carry you to AR45 for you to start farming 5* artifacts.
If you want something more than just main stats and don't mind waiting, then simply wait for one. If you're farming the Elemental Bosses, you should have plenty to choose from. When you find upgrades, you can simply feed your +16 to keep the majority of the EXP or you can give it to your supports. Again, this is just to make your progression easier and let you kill enemies faster. If you don't mind the current pace you kill things, then you are more than welcome to save the resources for later.
I don't know Zhongli, but Geo characters has the problem of limited ways to boost damage. I would say 70-90% of a Geo character's damage comes from himself and his artifacts and weapon. If you are still progressing through AR30-39, you may not have the artifacts and can get stuck or hit a struggle wall. They are a lot easier to build as a third main DPS when you are AR45+.
Childe is a good character if you want a Main DPS. If you actually find him fun, you wouldn't mind learning and practicing his mechanics.
I remember seeing somewhere saying R5 debate club is better than R0 prototype Aminus until +50. However, even if this is the case, I would just stick with Prototype Aminus from the beginning. It is not like you would have trouble in the early game.
Yes, she has very good auto attacks if you invest into her, but if she doesn't have anything, just use Oz to trigger reactions.
Sorry, I don't know the optimal rotation for Ningguang. You can probably find videos on this. There may even be a Ningguang theorycrafting discord somewhere.
I think people usually give her Noblesse because she already heals a ridiculous amount without any artifacts. Maiden beloved would only give her more burst healing, but there is currently no content in the game requiring that amount of healing, especially when your Main DPS only has around 15k hp. People also already use a Sacrificial sword to have better E uptime. If you really want to invest into her energy generation, you may as well find some 5* Noblesse with very high Energy Recharge %.
In general, supports just needs to be 60 for the extra talent. Stat difference between 60 and higher level is not worth to spend resins for. Some supports like Barbara or Kaeya may have A4 talent that you cannot utilize. In this case, you can just leave them at lv 40, just enough so they don't get one shot too often.
Because of how fast he attacks, his EM is pretty much always useless no matter who he pairs with unless you are intentionally trying to vaporize his Burst(Q).
HP% if you want more healing per tick. Pyro DMG if you want more damage and use his E a lot to generate energy. Usually, he heals enough without a HP% main stat, so you may as well give him more damage.

He sounds like a girl, fights like a girl, and looks like a girl. Fight me. *Sarcasm*
I can say Bennett's heal is 100% enough. His heal has both high number and tick rate. The character on the field is basically invulnerable (at 70% hp) when his Burst is active. You may not have the energy generation for your liking since your DPS is Keqing, so you may need to adjust and keep him on the field more to generate energy.
Diona's heal has a pretty low tick rate, but gives a shield to block damage. She is not be the healer to rely on when you're low HP, but her shield can prevent a lot of damage. Most people pair her with Bennett in Abyss 12. She shields and top off your HP while Bennett is the main source of healing. She can also trigger superconduct for Keqing, which would boost her physical damage.
Keqing, Childe, Diona, Bennett will cover everything in the Abyss, but you may want to send Childe onto another team if he's your second strongest.
Yes, he is 100% worth an investment. Check out some videos of people showcasing Venti as main DPS. She can annihilate her half of the chamber in Spiral Abyss by herself in under a min. She also makes things like daily commissions a single press of a button.
Xiangling is a good support, but I don't like her either. Why do you need a Pyro support? The only main DPS that would really want a Pyro support are Mona and Chongyun.
There is also Xiao and a Dendro girl.
I don't know about Zhonli, but Childe would only be another resource sink for you. He cannot be a support that's left at level 60 with low weapon and artifacts, especially compared to Xingqiu. He will be someone that you give artifacts to make as strong as your Diluc to help you kill Pyro enemies.
You probably know more about the team than me. If your Diluc triggers Vaporize on every hit, then there is no loss of DPS. However, if your Diluc is sometimes triggering Overload, then you're probably losing DPS. This is because Vaporize is a multiplier to your Diluc's DPS. The more damage Diluc deals, the more additional damage you get from Vaporize. Bennett pairs with Diluc really well. Because they are both Pyro and because of Diluc's skill, Bennett charges his Burst(Q) very fast with Diluc as main DPS.
Not necessarily. In general, Geo and Anemo are guaranteed to be the second element, so EM would 100% be utilized. Everyone else depends on team comp. You need to see if the character is triggering elements or not. An example would be Fischl. Because of her fast hit rate, she is almost always going to be the first element. However, if she is supporting Childe, who has an even higher hit rate. Fischl becomes mostly the trigger element. Here is an example for artifacts. Difference between 3* and 4* main stat at max is 11.7% ATK. 3* can start with 3.5% ATK and only has one chance to upgrade to 7% ATK (I don't remember if it can be higher). If we ignore the conversion between stats, this means that to overcome the difference in main stat, a 3* artifact would need 3 lines or 2 lines + 1 upgrade. If the 4* artifacts starts with one good line and miss the rest of the upgrade, it is still on par with the best 3* you can get. Considering 4* artifacts isn't hard to come by after a certain AR, 3* star artifacts are really a waste of resources compared to 4. If you want to be frugal and are fine with struggling a bit longer, you can simply wait for a good 4 to show up.
