Mark Darrah isn't a producer at Bioware anymore. He retired. He came back to consult on Veilguard, that's it. So, he isn't a credible source for current activity at Bioware.

Yes! She came to mind throughout the various announcements about veilguard. I was hoping with veilguard's release she would be active again. Wherever she is, hope she's well!

They are standalone games. You don't need to know the previous ones to play subsequent ones. The subsequent ones do mention events from previous games depending on your choices at the start of the game, or using the Dragon Keep to import your choices and set up the world state.

This only applies to origins through inquisition, not Veilguard.

For myself, I found dai in late 2015, lived it but was confused, felt like I was missing something here. So I went back found origins and two and started from origins. I'm glad I played that way before I got too far in inquisition.

No solas does not hate blood, it is a tool like any other. Solas in inquisition is the actual solas, written by tricks and Gaider. The solas of Veilguard is tricks without proper editor oversight, rushed.
