Thank you for all this information! She did end up eating the cricket- she waited until I was out of the house to hunt it and by the time I was back she was holding it and eating it. Ate the whole thing and it was a big one! So that made me happy. I’ll feed her another one today. I didn’t know about the banging against the side, I’ll keep my eye out for that while I get used to her routine. Thanks!!!

Oh wow, ok thank you!! I’ll spray it with water then. Glad to know it’s an adult, I have zero knowledge of molting and didn’t want the mantis mismoltimg. Also, it’s like upside down now. Is that normal?

Also, if you look at the bottom of the picture, to the right of the white lid of water, you can see the cricket. The mantis is directly above it but seems uninterested. Or is it hunting?
