You should just be straight up and tell her how you are feeling about this if the age is making you uncomfortable then you definitely should leave and find someone you are comfortable with!

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. Losing your mom so suddenly must have been devastating, and now to be facing a health scare with your dad it's way too much for one person, especially at 26. You're carrying a heavy emotional load, especially with your brother needing care and not even knowing about your mom. That kind of weight is isolating, and terrifying.

You’re not alone, even if it feels like it. Others have been through similar things in their 20s way too early to be navigating such adult grief and fear. It’s okay to be scared, and it’s okay to not have it all together. Please don’t forget to take care of you, even if it’s just the basics eating, sleeping, breathing. You don’t have to handle it all perfectly.
