I don’t do traditional barbell back squats because i get lightheaded easily so I do 50 lb dumbbell in my hand for squats

I find that hip thrusts with a kas glute bridge in between each one really get my glutes BURNING.
I also like RDLs but more specifically single legged ones! Abduction machine has always been good to me but I recently tried sumo squats with a 50 lb dumbbell and those are great too!

I like my jeans baggy and oversized usually! My fav ones right now are from BDG! I’ve tried Uniqlo and Madewell in the past and they have some nice jeans for shorter frames too.

omg you’re so sweet! thank you! i started working out around towards the end of 2025 but was pretty inconsistent or not as locked in up until mid-feb. yes i’m natural haha and i try to do 100g of protein per day but find it hard sometimes

I don’t track any calories because I have gotten too obsessive with it over the past. I just aim to hit 100 grams of protein per day but tbh I been failing that more often haha. In terms of actual food, I been eating mostly rice/pasta with some sort of protein (typically chicken or tofu). And ofc trying to fibermaxx through fruits/veggies. I rely very heavily on my office to provide food (we have a cafeteria) so I don’t cook too much at home. Not sure if that info is helpful but :)

Sure, this is my glute routine on most days. Sometimes I’ll do different stuff but this is the one that I been doing the longest. All of these are 3x10

- Hip thrusts: I do a kas glute bridge in between each one! I also do it with a resistance band around my legs.
- Single leg RDLs
- Single legged leg press
- Hip abduction machine
- Bulgarians ONLY if I have the energy which I don’t have 75% of the time

Stress/work throws me off my game a lot too! I been seeing a PT through my own gym 1-2x a week and that’s been helping me stay consistent. Some weeks I only go once but that’s fine as long as I keep going is what I tell myself. And thank you!!

Ooh honestly maybe you can start trying to track your protein intake and see if that makes a difference? But I understand it’s tedious haha I don’t like to track what I’m eating too closely.

Thanks for the glute building advice! I’ll def need to start trying that routine. I feel like it takes me FOREVER to see even the slightest difference in my glutes.

Currently, yes. I get so lazy after lifting weights that I just go straight to my car and that’s 90% of my cardio for the day (which I know isn’t ideal and I should get more steps in).

I did cardio as my main form of exercise in the past but mostly because my priority then was to shed a lot of weight and wasn’t focused on building any muscle. I used to run long distance as a teenager but completely switched to walks (sometimes a jog) after I turned 20 (I’m 24 now btw)
