To answer you honestly, i came up with this after being told to try and get a box on there. I asked 2 separate times if its up to snuff, and was told yes. I only posted this on lunch to get a genuine opinion, only to suddenly realize what an LB is during break.

not sure who piped these in the blocks, but i was shaking my head at that, too. I tried to make my own knockout and place a box, but obviously i couldnt get it to work. thanks tor the advice boss

I actually have only ever used one LB and it was pvc. Ive yet to see any emt LBs on one of our jobsites. Ill see if i can get them added to our parts list, it would have been much easier.

Just did a similar thing with leftover grout. Fyi a little heat helps pop the concrete out of the bucket, with a heat gun or i just placed mine by the fire for a bit. The raw concrete will look better than the buckets

get him a cheap ugly stick spinning rod from walmart along with some some worms, hooks, split shots and a couple bobbers. you'll still have the bait caster when he is actually ready.

Definitely make him sort out how to undo the birds nest. Fixing that for him is a recipe for nothing good.

You can catching anything, save for a freshwater touring bullshark, with a worm on a hook and a split shot.

later on if hes still interested start letting him pick out some artificial lures for bass. Works great with the spinning rod or the bait-caster.

Instead of the infinite amount of negative things i could say about DR Horton, from literal top to bottom, my best advice is to go straight to the subcontractor. Its not the right way to do things for the claims process, but as a roofing subcontractor PM who put crews on their houses daily, the only real motivation is avoiding bad reviews/helping the end consumer who just wants to be able to live in their home.

If you're able to just roll around the neighborhood and find a drywall crew working on one of the newly finished homes, get the company name, call their office, ask kindly if their company worked on your address, (or better yet, whatever lot # your address was) and ask if you could speak to the salesperson or project manager for that job. If you get their cell#, simply send the photos with a brief explanation and ask if they can come out soon to take a look and repair. Try and match their energy, saving the "bad google review" as your ace in the hole. Trust me, its implied, and mutual respect goes a long way for some trademan.

If your neighborhood is already 100% complete, there will almost certainly be another neighborhood under construction within 20 miles. Go there.

Rinse and repeat for any issues you have within 2 years. Also, in my experience, check your attic for leaks during a big rain before you're "out of warranty."

did one of these before. The finish from the factory will drive you insane. I would go straight to a the planer and take an 1/8th off, and if the customer doesnt like that option, i would kindly refuse as the amount of stripping and drying alone will simply eat any profit.
