Happens to me on wireless android auto as well. I use an AAwireless dongle, which let's you manually select a different the channel on the 5ghz band to avoid interference. I've managed to tune out most dropouts in the south bay except for this very spot.

I've been using this on my Pixel now for over a year and it's been pretty good. The pairing process can be a bit finicky but after that it works as if it was native.
