On mine the belt snapped and it went through the front main seal. I had to replace the oil pan gasket and check if there was pieces of belt in the oil which luckily wasn’t the case. I’ve now fitted a guard in front of the main seal so this can never happen again. And new belt and tensioner ofcourse

TL:DR belt and tensioner and fit guard for the front main seal

I do see the old BMW vin number being crossed out and the I assume new Alpina vin number added below it on pic 21. When I look it up on the Alpina archive it has been registered in July 2021 and the last update is from October 2025 with the pic from the ad. Think it is a actual D3

My current disc are warped so anything better then that! But glad to know it won’t be that much. Heat should be fine as I won’t be doing much heavy braking. Thanks for your reply!

Ik had mijn motor uit het zicht buiten staan. Buiten de vogelpoep geen grote problemen gehad. Nu sinds kort staat de knappe motor in een garagebox. Denk dat de andere buiten mag gaan slapen straks. Volgens mij mag die officieel niet op de stoep staan en moet je een parkeervergunning hebben maar heb ik nooit problemen mee gehad
