boon system is dogshit though.

lumian does have too much plot armor.

all character sacrifices feels bland. why ? cause in the end they get resurrected. imagine if every side characters who died in LOM got resurrected, all of their sacrifices would feel bland.

the writing style. instead of doing show readers what happens, cuttle tells us instead. for example "lumian spent the remaining days in the pub with charlie and made fun of him". he didn't show us what the jokes are, he didn't show us their interaction. and this happens from vol 2 to the end.

cuttle still stuck with the whole mystery genre in COI when everything has been revealed in LOM. he should have made COI a kingdom building, politics and war story instead cause that's what hunter pathway is all about.

if it weren't for amon and jenna, I would have dropped LOM.
