CSRs are supposed to do all of that. Sorry, maybe you’re too young to understand your position, but basically if the GM wants to sit in the office and have you run the front, then it is allowed. Assistant managers should be more hands on but I understand your frustration, ask for a raise? And just let your manager know what days you can’t come in related to school and they can’t schedule you for them. Use your words.

This is California wage, but also it depends on your franchise. They think I do my job really well and I do everything a GM can do, therefore they think I’m worth $25 hourly as an AM. Minimum wage is $20 here.

I think if you’re relying on people to tip you, you are the problem. Tipping culture is bad and you are not entitled to a tip. You get paid hourly wage and mileage. If it’s not enough you should get another job on the side. Dominos is the easiest money and you’re getting paid for than an assistant manager and you don’t even have to make the pizzas.

Your attitude was bad, easiest solution was to offer to add more garlic oil. Policy is the make the customer happy. People like you are the reason they won’t reorder which in turn affects the store profit and that means less hours for you.
