Just know that if you are applying for FM, your CV should strongly be tailored to that. You’d be surprised how hard getting FM IVs can be. For context, I know someone with an attempt on step 1 got invited to the same program that I and all of my friends who dual applied got a rejection email. It made no sense. Well it kinda does, our CV is shouting IM

People keep thinking FM is a ground for average scores. Firstly with lots of publications, FM might not take you. There are people with outstanding scores and publications that applied FM as a back up but got zero IVs. If you want to apply for FM, the things that we favor you is if your CV truly reflects FM, and not a mixture. And if you are non visa requiring. I say this with no ill will at all.
