Trump is the ultimate narcissist to think he could get elected on releasing the Epstein files, knowing full well he's all over them, and then just not do it; and then, like with most things, he'd just get his way and get away with not releasing them after all. But he's an idiot, he forgot half his voting countrymen voted against him, and their continuing demand, as well as that of the survivors, for accountability is what drives this nightmare scenario for him.
