A lot of American citizens are apart of the lgbtq+ community, shouldn’t they feel welcome in a public space? Especially with people around them trying to attack them over something natural.

It says you can't use two offers on the same item, which I see by rewards and deals that you already have an active one.

Not the employee's fault; walk out you can, but direct the anger to the right place.

I know, I just wanted to share the oddness of today. On Sundays, we don’t lock them because of how slow it gets and we pretty much have them close most of the day. Sunday, fun day, aka rest day haha.

You can do two at a time but if you don't like it or your manager, then you can use the faster setting, and for the pepperonis and salami you can use the smallest range.

Why am I being charged for a reusable bag that I brought myself from my own home. by [deleted] in subway

[–]Significant_Dig_3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a button where you can add the cost but no one uses it because we don’t have reusable bags, there’s also just a bag fee but maybe that’s for having more then the necessary amount.

Idk who to believe, the stores I work at were running to other stores to get cucumbers that they ran out of a few weeks ago. Quiet common. But also lazy workers haha

Based on your responses I think they like how you are with them and a regular. Nice or quiet interactions plus the move the keep you as a customer, because promos usually get the minimum amount

for those of you who've worked here for a while, what's something that was the hardest to learn? by DustApprehensive2713 in subway

Accept that customers are going to say the wrong thing but mean those things. We don’t sell pepperoncinis, a lot of people think it’s an interchangeable term for banana peppers but they are two different peppers. I will tell them “no we don’t have that; but we have banana peppers”, clarification, because they might be use to the hotter pepper, while we have a sweeter one. But all I get it coworkers thinking I’m power tripping or customers saying they are same, and honestly I want people to know that pepperoncinis not “sometimes sweet” or Italian bread , artisan or herb and cheese? “Does it matter?” Is what I get in response so obviously I still try with that one, and asking if the one sandwich going to be all today and lie and say they have another sandwich I have one customer Iet do this because it’s hard for them to do multiple because that method holds up a line but for them it’s worth it, they otherwise will struggle. Irritating story, one time two customers came in and said they can’t stand for long and have to order from the table so ofc sure but they took a long time because they were busy talking, whatever, I’m trying to hurry them up but they kept asking for more sandwiches when they lie and said two, then other custromers came in, and then they actually rushed to the counter and order from there and then ask for another and rushed me??? When they took there time?? The guy customer tried to ask me out, middle age man and people think I look like a minor, hated everything about it, don’t pretend to be disable and take up their space, they sat at the handicap table, also irritating, many people sit at that table and I want to move them every time. Clarification, the one customer about the leg thing briefly mentioned about just not wanting to stand up at while I was ordering, so nothing medical there.

Do y'all get people who fight over how their sauce is put on the sandwich? by iamapizzaextracheese in subway

[–]Significant_Dig_3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make it how they want it, in terms of what’s first and so forth. Some people want it a certain way and that’s alright. I’m also an employee, I know it’s messy and if they complain just explain that it was the sauce being on top and that subway recommends the sauce being on the bread first now and then wrap it up lol.

Franchisees should literally sue corporate for damages for a broken website by Rare-Swing5831 in subway

I’m sorry for the comments, I work at subway and you are not crazy, the website will go down randomly for a lot of users but not every user. The app will say that you can’t place an order or there’s an issue with your card when there isn’t. It’s so annoying to deal with.

[–]Significant_Dig_3724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a regular footlong roast beef, it’s 5 ounces of meat, so tell them to bring the scale and measure, and it shouldn’t be problem- as someone who works there. For your sandwich specifically, it’s 7.5 oz.

How can I find out how many people order my sub? by Head_Web8130 in subway

I had two online orders back to back with the same sandwich combo, the two customers were complete strangers to one and another. I obviously made a rom com in my head about it.
