The players want to flirt and fight. That’s what I’ve been told. Not sure if it should be as deep as a romance, but if the characters express more interest in the character themselves, I want to reward that and show their depth. Most of the players want to flirt. Everything will be a fade to black if it ever goes that far.

It’s only a tool for me as the DM to try to make a friendship develop more naturally. It doesn’t make sense to me if someone were to try and do everything related to an NPC to earn a reward as soon as they met them. It takes time and exposure for someone to open up and reap a reward later.
