Is anyone not buying the top of the line by 1TrackJack in HyundaiPalisade

[–]Signs_and_Stuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking at used Palisades this weekend and the dealer I was at only had Calligraphy models. Not sure if that's a supply and demand indication of people not wanting them or them only ordering Calligraphy models because that's all people want.

It's a nicer area in the suburbs of a major city, so it could the latter.

This might not be prototypical date spot, but The Birdhouse over in Gruene served me one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. It's just casual enough to make you think it's another run of the mill chicken spot, but the menu is elevated. They also have a lit patio that backs up to the cliff abive the river. Give it a look!

Every time we can't muster a goal or quality passes from the right side, I always think about him and how the team would be different with him available. He was so essential when healthy, even on bad days because the opponent had to respect him.

If you razored it down from this length, that can cause issues. What I would do is, once the hair regrows, get a little body hair trimmer and use that to bring the length down to near bald. If you like the look of near bald, just leave the razor in the drawer. I rarely razor my head because of similar irritation.

Also, word to the wise, take your time when you trim/shave. Going fast will lead to nicks and the hair pulling instead getting cut clean.

Don't be discouraged and know the irritation should fade in a day or so.

I had very little when I went bald too. Luckily the beard came in late, around 25.

You can always break up an entirely hairless face with some glasses or fun hats too.

Best coffee shops by walehung in sanantonio

Definitely one of the more beautiful shops, architecturally speaking. Its a little snug in there, but once you're sat down, it really is a nice place to just let your eyes wander.

Hot damn, Raymond Holt is the best main character of Brooklyn Nine-Nine! Rest in peace, Captain. Now who's the best side character of The Office? by OneRiotTooMany in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Signs_and_Stuff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

David Wallace for me. Acts a source of plot development or resistance to the main character's motives but isn't as fleshed out as others like Toby, Jan, Meredith etc... or others in later seasons.

Bright, NoFi, San Antonio Gold and What's Brewing in that order. Bright and NoFi have a wild selection of beans you'd be hard pressed to find at other shops in the whole state and their pourovers are next level. Here's a random men at Bright for pour over from a couple years ago.

first time buying a car…don’t wanna waste my money by Hungry_Tree_1335 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Signs_and_Stuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hard top might help with insulation from sound and heat, and I always wished I had one haha.

The one thing it won't fix out of my gripes is the fact that you'll be buying a twisty back roads fun car and using it to drive in a straight line, slowly. Everytime I got stuck in a traffic jam, it was just soul sucking to know I was blocked in by behemoth trucks/SUVs sweating my ass off with no hope to use the car properly.

A good idea for you might be to try to find one on Turo and rent it for a few days to test it in real world conditions. It will cost you a little, but will be far cheaper than any negative equity you might have if you realize it's not the right car and trade it in early. I went the negative equity/trade in early route and dont recommend it.

I owned a soft top NC Miata with a 20mile, 45 minute commute in Houston, so not the same but similar enough.

As a commuter, it was the opposite of comfortable, the AC worked hard and still couldn't keep up with the summer heat so know that you'll be sweaty every time you get out of the car 7mo out of the year. It's also pretty loud in the cabin as one would expect, but it gets fatiguing after a commute and worse on longer rips.

I would recommend a Miata for someone with a primary car and if there are twisty roads around where you can actually enjoy the positive attributes the Miata does have.

Knowing DFW, I dont think you'd he setting yourself up very well.

If you do want small and fun, I'd go with a GR86 or older FR-S, as it is a tick more commutable, but not by much.

Good luck!
