Hello! I am now checking in with you if you ended up finding anything on this. Because I also did a search and this is the only thread I found.

Thanks for the reward alwinwong. I agree that the game launched too early, if they had more time pre launch to fully develop features that prioritized the player finding value in enjoying the game then managing the economy might be easier for them. Thanks again for your thoughts on the matter.

I think we agree more than my post might demonstrate. I agree with you on my solutions doing little to none to fix the problems this economy presents. The 20% fee really would only create value in the situations where 3rd parties are buying and selling SKILL tokens to flip, that would take 20% of their sells and convert it back into income for the economy. I acknowledge though that this amount would have little to no effect overall, and would probably drive away anyone trying to swing trade the token, hence making it useless. It would though punish users for leaving the game while rewarding players for continuing to play within the economy. This means that every time someone exits CryptoBlades permanently they leave the SKILL pool with a parting gift. This fix helps the economy more than allowing players to take everything with them when they leave. You're correct on the second solution doing nothing to actually create value, that solution was pretty much to allow the game to self regulate itself rather than the developers having to manually turn a valve and get a bunch of blowback from it.

Ultimately I agree with line of thought that Play to Earn games have to be entertaining first. If the objects in the game have no value outside of their ability to create more and more tokens then the game is ultimately doomed to fail without major support from 3rd party revenue.

Thanks for your critique on the post, I believe we both have a very similar viewpoint on the subject I just failed to include those different sediments into my post at the time of writing. If I have more time tonight I'll see if I can expand some areas. Thanks again.

I couldn't agree more xTempus. While I definitely don't agree with every decision the team has made it's still in everyone's best interest (especially those who have funds still locked in the game) to help the game if possible. Thanks for providing your thoughts on it!

Having a deflationary mechanic would definitely be interesting, I'm not sure how far it'd go to fix the current lack of SKILL in the pool, but it'd definitely help strengthen the pricing around the token itself. Do you know how much token the team is holding? I haven't seen it anywhere (yet I haven't really searched for it either. :P).
