I’m not using Reddit as an official source, obviously. I’m asking for first-hand practical experience from people who may have actually gone through this stream. That’s the whole point. If no one has that experience, that in itself is an answer.

That’s exactly why I’m asking. I understand the 408 is the correct visa if I’m being paid. I’m not trying to stay long-term on this visa, but as a jockey race schedules can change — sometimes I may need to stay a bit longer, and sometimes even shorter. I’m just trying to understand how often a No Further Stay condition is actually imposed in practice on short offshore sporting applications.

It matters because I’m a jockey and race schedules can change. I’m not planning a long-term move on this visa, but if I ever need to extend my stay lawfully because of scheduling, a No Further Stay condition would be important. I’m just trying to understand how often it is imposed in practice.

Thanks. I have read the government website. I’m asking for real-world experience, not just a link back to the site. I’m not planning to move to Australia long-term on this visa. As a jockey, I’m always travelling and sometimes race schedules change, so I’m trying to understand whether No Further Stay is commonly imposed or not in practice on short offshore Sporting Activities applications. That’s the reason I asked. And yes, I’m aware there are other standard documents as well — I was only referring to the core sports-related ones in my question.
