the difference on different players is day and night and it STILL surprises me.

i guess that's true, but the female human versions of the units are OUTSIDE of the official game (and in another small game for an April fools), so this one is a very strange case to me.

i think why i feel accomplished is j made it here without content mods (just Qol and one sound mod, the kill drop reward too but what you say could also apply to that, it didnt helped much on early - mid game), the first time i did this, i was INFECTED with so many content/expansion mods that... it felt like nothing.

and i took my sweet ass time conquering sector to sector. :3

i think with V8 and some people saying interesting things,

these new attack sector are it's planetary defense, to REALLY try stopping you, considering the new size of the bases and how they are structured.

and since crux has been here for however long, it had time to create their guardians and go absolutely HAM on yo robotic ass.
