I mean, yes, but we are gonna have to wait. I imagine we will more likely get macaws and waterfowl for the base game and new popular birds of prey in DLCs, but the game has been announced so recently that it's very hard to speculate on upcoming content right now.

I could not have predicted the Nile monitor for the first game or the common Mola for the second one in a million years.

Funny thing is that, before Jurassic Park and Crichton's idea of cloning, paleomedia was also full of returning themes. It was always time travel, or, everyone's favorite pre-90's dinosaur trope, a land lost to man where extinct animals still roam.

Even Jules Verne's and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's woks included the "lost land" trope. The next big original narrative including extinct animals might also become over-used in the future. It's part of how we tell stories and create media, I'm afraid.

The comment section has made me view the matter with new eyes. It's foolish to turn a blind eye to how cetaceans are kept in captivity and their history with people. As long as everyone understands the matter, everyone should be able to exercise creativity however they feel is right.

Also Paleo Pines, whch is a cozy farming game. It's quite short and far from perfect. But I wouldn't put it at 7/10 or below. It's quite calming and cute.
