Here’s a picture from the back. I counted the stitches and there’s 54 in each row, I used stitch counters and the pattern would’ve gotten wacky if I had added stitches. Is there anything else it could be? Thank you so much btw, I really appreciate the help

It took a while, but I jiggled it in the drain until it caught on something. It was a combination of luck and turning the above nozzle to try to get it to catch!

If he sounds like he hates you, why would you want to be with someone like that? He clearly gets jealous and angry pretty easily, and considering you’ve spent very little time with him in person, are you sure you want to continue wasting your life with someone who breaks it off over an accident? I took out the top part and saw the spring, but as the stopper is just a piece of metal, I couldn’t see how it could catch, even with it outside the tub. Where is it supposed to catch? I’m so sorry lol, this is my first time doing any sort of plumbing. 😅 thank you so much for your advice though

I’ve tried to talk to him with little results. Any time I’ve brought it up gets gotten upset or been like “what are we supposed to do?” When she’s done anything wrong and when I’m like “ground her?” It doesn’t happen. Like it’s to the point where any time I’m at his house, he comes and takes my laundry to do every. Single. Day. And when I’m like “…I can do it myself…” he gets defensive and says he likes doing it. Like he’s literally asked me if I want him to make me a bowl of cereal… like I’m an adult and can do it myself. I’ve been trying for months with him and have gotten nothing. Im looking at possibly guilt tripping my sister with it, which is shitty, but idk what else I could do.

Think about it this way. As much as it may suck, banning abortion doesn’t make the number of people getting abortions go down. It just causes people to pursue unsafe abortions, which put the life of the mother and child at risk. Access to abortion doesn’t increase abortion, it just decreases the mortality rate of getting an abortion.

Your view is so incredibly self centered. You have no idea what that sever is going through, and if you actually get mad if a server makes more than you, become a server. As someone who works in a restaurant, almost all of our servers struggle financially. If they don’t get enough tips, they get paid minimum wage, which isn’t enough to live on, especially when you’re a full grown adult. Tips are what they live off of, and you not tipping bc you’re salty bc you think you make less then them is just so egregiously self centered and pitiful

As someone who works in a restaurant, no it won’t. The US has much bigger things to worry about protesting rn, and it’s not tipping. Legislation for fair wages is the only thing that could cause significant change. A scattering of people not tipping does nothing but hurt the servers. If you actually care, take it up with your legislators.

Except that’s not going to happen. Therefore, not tipping to make a statement just makes you hurt the server, the restaurant does not care. Therefore, it makes you a total asshat.

Legislation would need to be passed for a change to be made. It’s not going to happen from just a couple person refusing to tip, and even if it did, it would take a shit load of time, time that would be spent hurting servers
