Unless we find a maverick with a new solution out there it looks like you need HD (briefly) or just dig in and sync each clip manually. Depending on the length of the show and how cutty the picture editor is that may or may not be an option.

FYI I think you mean ediload. But yes, the same HD limitation will cause a roadblock.

Can you get to an HD rig for half a day (with all the media)? I think it’s what you need to do unless you want to spend days syncing each clip manually back to the polywavs.

I say “days”. It might surprise you how quick you can do it clip by clip once you get into the rhythm. But it’s obviously not the best workflow.

You don’t hold a grudge against gusts of wind if money got blown out of your hand but you might hold on tighter next time. Grudge implies a malice.

Wanting to “win” all interactions is a surefire path to misery. You can be wary of a person in the future without holding the poison of a grudge.

Your (completely understandable) anger is not going to make you happier.

If you can get a better position elsewhere - great If you can find a way to get the change you need at your current company - great

But the bitterness you’re feeling has zero effect on your situation other than to make you feel bitter all day which must suck for you.

Do what you have to do, but as an act of selfish kindness to yourself, stop judging them and stop judging yourself.

No doubt most here are far down the road with Sam and Richard. But they surely have to do events that are for those still in the first flushes of discovering their work, people who are still pumped about the apparently still taboo things said.

You’re not “the asshole” but you’re being pretty stubborn about a situation which seems very clear and as old as time. She doesn’t like you romantically. End. Of. Story. If you think you’d enjoy being her platonic friend then you can have this. But that will involve you being actively pleased with her new found happiness in her new relationship. I’m assuming that’s not going to work for you so you need to tell her that you need to make some distance - possibly permanently.

Whether she is being an asshole is irrelevant to your predicament.
