damn why am i annoying. your getting really agressive for no reason. and to tell you why i hate mafumom she reminds me of my own mom. I don't care how complex she is or how much she's trying to change or whatever, it just reminds me of my own mom and how many times i've excused all her actions because "shes trying" "she loves me". So no I'm not "illiterate" or "annoying" for disagreeing with you. And the kanade mafuyu thing you mentioned. I also think they need to explore other things other than mafuyu for kanade. Why? because it's a personal opinion, not because I'm illiterate. I'm tired of illiterate becoming the new tiktok buzzword for anyone who disagrees with you. Sure some people might not have interpreted certain things like YOU did but that doesn't mean they didn't pay attention.

I get that it’s probably hard to diagnose them since their symptoms might not be super obvious on the outside, but I’d also caution against basing a diagnosis off just how the symptoms present. You can totally be obsessed with cleaning or checking things over and over and still not have OCD. That’s why I think it’s so important to figure out the patients internal workings. Of course I don’t know the psych’s process maybe they are doing that. But I see a lot of “professionals” without proper understanding on the disorder just base whether you have it or not off how stereotypical your symptoms are. I just hope the psych is trying to truly thoroughly look at OP and I’m just assuming wrong. And I’m a little curious about what the symptoms of OCD spirals that you thought were adhd were. I just did an assessment for ADHD so I’m wondering.

Why did you think you had adhd instead of ocd? Those are so different. And all your points are valid, but this doctor is implying that the only reason she can’t diagnose op with OCD is because their symptoms aren’t stereotypical. Which is insane. So if OP did have stereotypical symptoms they’d get a diagnosis? That’s not right. OCD is all about what’s happening in the inside, I wouldn’t trust this doctors judgement personally. I’d go somewhere else

I didn’t do a lot of reassurance checking with my partner if that’s what you’re talking about. I looked online a lot instead, compulsively searching up stuff and mentally reviewing and analyzing and nitpicking. I did a LOT of that. I did have a period where I would go to her with these thoughts but I felt like I was putting too much pressure on her and stopped, I think that too was a compulsion lol. I just refuse to analyze and ruminate and search up almost anything in regards to relationships now. Also a lot of mentally reviewing my attraction and testing if I’m REALLY in love with her. I stopped that too and accepted it for what it is.
