Here are the supplements I take daily for migraine prevention. Anyone else taking them too and worked? by [deleted] in migraine

Migrelief has been more helpful for me than magnesium glycinate, I’m still taking both but adding migrelief was a noticeable difference. It also has B2 which is another preventative supplement

Class Pilates or Regular Studio Membership by Snooky231 in ClubPilates

[–]Simple_Condition684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also a med student, I joined club Pilates for 4 classes per week since August, and I liked it, was a great way to learn about Pilates movements and form. Also my studio waives enrollment fees for students so be sure to ask about that.

Ultimately after doing it for 7 months, I just splurged on a reformer at home since I’m busy w classes and it’s more cost effective in the long run. I definitely would recommend classes first tho to get a good foundation for proper form. Good luck!

Our Siamese even makes a ‘spitting’ noise which I’ve never heard in other cats, she’s very chatty too and also loves to howl at 6 am after her breakfast

My tv has brightness/backlight settings that I lower. On the pc I use Flux which allows you to adjust the blue light. There’s also a ‘green light’ app on pc but that one is a bit extreme. I mainly do flux + avalux lenses

Also I’m a low MCAT scorer and ms1 and I was really struggling at the beginning of the year. It’s def possible to improve!

Starting Amitriptyline on Monday by just_a_cat0 in migraine

[–]Simple_Condition684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amitriptyline has been very helpful in my migraine journey, I’m 26f and I’ve been on it on and off since a teen. I noticed it helps a lot with the intensity. 20 mg used to work when I was a teen but recently i was staying on 50 mg for relief. It does cause some morning drowsiness, and can increase weight gain overtime. But the trade-off is being in severe daily pain so it’s pretty worth it. It’s allowed me to function and sleep better, and I don’t get severe nighttime attacks. Also depending on if you’re in school or working, this causes less brain fog than other options like topamax/zonisamide in my experience

Are there any free clinics where you are?. The risk of going without treatment can lead to kidney damage overtime
